Ten Things to Smile About on a Sunday . . .

A dancing Snoopy.   Who doesn't love the Snoopster.   Memories of a happy childhood and Charlie Brown.

Canadian autumn colours in Gatineau Park.

That's about the only way I burn calories these days as well.  You just gotta love Maxine.   She hits the nail on the head every time.

Marcella Hazen's Immortal Tomato Sauce.  Who knew something so simple could be so incredibly tasty.

Mommy snuggles.

The Tower of London spilling out ceramic poppies, each one representing a life given during WW1.  888,246 ceramic poppies to be exact.  Amazing to comprehend.    May we never forget the price of freedom.

I would love to be able to do this for real, but I can't and so I do this in my heart.  Every day.  Countless times.

A loving farewell to a beloved Auntie.

A husband who loves me enough to bring me this home from the Library just because he saw it and knew I would love reading it.

Knowing in my heart this is true.

A thought to carry with you through today . . .

Happiness resides not in possessions
and not in gold;
the feeling of happiness
dwells in the soul.

  1. Enjoy your Sabbath Marie. Mine has been very very quiet. Everyone is out and the house is peaceful. Unfortunately Monday morning is our garbage collection day so I have quite a number of chores to do before dark. God bless.

  2. MOnday is our garbage collection day too Suzan! And you have to have it out the night before because they can come anytime on Monday morning. The one time we might not get it out the night before they are sure to come before we get up! There is no rhyme or reason to it! xx

  5. I have big smiles from all of your pictures and comments about them. Even for Auntie Margot. I see her as graduating on to bigger and better things. She learned her life lessons and now it was her time to move on. She will be missed though.

We have to put our trash out for pick up Sunday night too because they come so early.

Happy Monday Marie! Love you much!!! xoxo

Your comments mean the world to me, and while I may not be able to address each one individually, each one is important to me and each one counts. Thanks so much!
