Best Shot Monday

I just love this picture I took when Todd and I took Jess for a walk in the orchards that surround our little cottage one day last week. I call it, "The Promise of Things to Come." Just look at all those little seeds just waiting for a breeze to come along or the whisper of someone's breath . . . their opportunity to sail away and start again and begin new life. The wonder of nature . . . how could anyone ever think this all happened by accident . . . it boggles the mind!

This has been my entry into Best Shot Monday, now head on over to Tracy's to see some of the other best shots for today!

  1. Good morning my friend.

    Lovely picture.

We had a nice Sunday today. It was good to be back home in our own ward and see my Young Women again. It is late and I am tired so I bid you goodbye. Have a great day.
    Love, Lura

  2. Hey. Look at your blog. Your blog looks beautiful.

I giggled when I read your comment, especially since you typed "asses". I am still laughing.

I love you. I really do. You're a gem, and I LOVE that you look out for me.

I'm not the best at checking blogs these days. Will you send me an email with your email address - abnmln@gmail.com. I also use MSN messenger...

  4. One of the things I miss most just now, when I can't get about, is seeing how things are doing n the garden. What's ready to flower and what's 'ready for off' like the dandelion fairies.

  8. What a lovely shot. And what a lovely thought accompanying it - to see the promise of life rather than a pesky weed.

I'm so glad to have found your blog via Mother May I - I'm really enjoying it.

  13. Dandelions are such fun little things. They bring out the kid in everyone...pick 'em and blow.

I love your title of The Promise of Things to Come and its message.

    The photo is fabulous.

  15. Such a positive spin you have on dandelion tuft. I look at those little buggers and think, "oh no! I better get before is spreads weeds all over the lawn!"
