Fun Friday Finds

A few of the things  I find each week that pique my interest, bring me joy, inspire me to learn, create, do, become . . . Maybe they will do the same for you!

I quite like this cardigan found on Purl Soho. Its simple and classic.  And a free pattern.

Just because  . . .

Again, just because.  I used to do this years ago.  I need to start doing it again.

A simple wrap scarf from Anne Shulz on Ravelry.

Dreamy Posy, paper rose tutorial. Very pretty.

Same place, bible study printables.  Love these!

Grillo, plastic bottle herb gardening.

Lovely Greens.  Video tutorial.

  1. Hi, Marie! Good to catch up with you today, and your posts this week. I'm not always good at commenting on every post, but read as much as I can! :) Ooo... that's a very elegant cardigan--and with thick and cozy yarn too, it looks like. Nice chart with natural healing. Legs up a wall, a good yoga pose, which I should do more of too--thanks for the reminder. LOVE the paper roses! That decorating hack article has a lot of great ideas... And very pretty idea for a butterfly/bee bath. In the last couple of year's we been planting more for attracting bees, butterflies and birds--lavender, butterfly bush, etc. Love the prayer journal promPts and printables--thanks for these all these finds! Wishing you all a very happy weekend there... LOVE YOU BOTH LOTS!! :))) OXOXOX ((LOVE & BIG HUGS))

  3. Oh yes, so many good things in your post today. From popsicles to the dish towels I found a lot I liked. Just had a popsicle the other day and had forgotten how refreshing they can be on a hot day. Hope you have a fantastic Friday !

    1. Oh Pam, I haven't had a popsicle in years. They are really refreshing. I have never seen one over here. I used to like fudgsicles which was rather strange as I did not like chocolate milk! oxox

  4. Hi Marie~

So many great ideas! I need to spruce up my house, and some of these ideas are so cute! I love the paper rose tutorial! and the removable floor covering looks like a fun, inexpensive way to cover an outdated bathroom floor...mine! I don't see as many butterflies around as I used to, such a shame - but, we have been seeing a lot more bees! Our county used to spray for mosquitoes, but stopped because it was killing the bees. I love seeing more little bees buzzing around my flowers. Such great ideas Marie, I love your, Fun Friday Finds!

I have been so busy with my new calling that I haven't had much time to blog. I did start up am Instagram account and Facebook, but haven't really been able to spend time figuring them out either! One of these days it will all come together... ;0)

I hope you are enjoying your summer, it's already slipping away too quickly. We have had a few really warm days, but it seems like the rain and wind are squeezing out the warm days. We've already had a few wild fires, which isn't a good sign for the rest of the summer, hopefully, they will calm down some.

    Love you sweet friend!

    hugs and Love,
    Barb

    1. Thanks Barb! Congrats on your new callling! I am wondering what it is? Has it changed from working with the young girls? You will soon sort it all out and things will come together I'm sure. I am praying for safety for you from the wild fires and that thy calm down. Love and hugs, xoxo

  5. The Jack Daniel patty melt looks so good. Thanks for sharing it.
I think I will be busy looking at quite a few of these links. I really enjoyed going through them all.
I especially loved the Herbal First Aide Kit, The legs up the wall. We could use these for sure.
The Pack and go kit for grands is a great one.
Prayer journaling is a wonderful idea that I will check out.
I loved all the garden stuff too. I wish we had time to do more gardening. Right now my husband's temple assignment is taking him hours. I don't do much gardening without him.
    The Petit Fours, yummy!
I really liked the knitting tutorial too. I once upon a time did some knitting. Maybe I should look at trying it again.
    Looks like great hair tips.
My Grandson loves Origami stuff; he will love this one.
My daughter will love the 40 Popsicle recipes.
Your Friday Finds are always fun!
Blessings, and loving thoughts for you!

  6. Um, strange. It was just yesterday that I was looking at the jumping from for something to do with the little ones at our public library, story time. Imagine my surprise when I opened your blog, only to see those same frogs. Hmmm.
I can't believe how good that Jack Daniel's Patty Melt looks. I will definitely need to try making it.
Trying to figure out where to get that vinyl floor mat to put in my bathroom. The flooring I have now is, well, let's just say it has seen better days.
    Have a great week, Marie.
