My Friday Finds . . .

A few of the things I find each week that inspire me to want to do better, to create, to become better, to read more, to watch, to just DO something! Things that delight, inspire, and bring me joy.  Maybe they will do the same thing for you!

Crochet Elf Hats in a multitude of sizes, enough to fit the whole family.  From BHooked Crochet. A free pattern.

Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts.  Be still my heart.  From Baked By An Introvert

Christmas Star Ornaments, using yarn and papers. Very easy.  Live, Craft, Eat

Pattern Paradise.  Free pattern for autumn coloured oak leaves. You could make a really pretty bunting with these.

A United Kingdom is a 2016 British biographical romantic drama film directed by Amma Asante and written by Guy Hibbert, based on the true-life romance between Sir Seretse Khama and his wife Ruth Williams Khama. We watched this the other night and it was fabulous.  I love films based on true stories.

Better Homes & Gardens. 30+ tips for decorating your Halloween Pumpkins.  I haven't done a pumpkin in years. Maybe this year I will do one. We will see.

And don't waste that pumpkin afterwards.  Why not make some Pumpkin Pie Jam!  From Tales From the Kitchen Shed. Colour me intrigued!

Make your own pumpkin puree.  A step by step tutorial from Six Figures Under.

Cute Votives for Halloween from LeCoin de Mel.  Are you a jar saver?  I am. My mother was, and so was her mother.  Generations of jar savers.

Amish Chocolate Pie.  This looks heavenly.  From I Am Homesteader.  Love that blog.

I could not find a source, but this custom clay family portrait is adorable.  I love it.

Buggy and Buddy.  A Faux Stained Glass Sun Catcher. Pretty.

Mollymoo Crafts.  Cardboard Box and pipecleaner spiders.  Cute!

Red Ted Art. Pop Up Cat Cards.  Cute!

Bullet Journal Simple Weekly Layout Page.  From Kate Louise

Easy women's boxer shorts. E-sew How. They look easy enough and very comfortable.

Handy Pouch Bag Tutorial.  Complete, here. Love this and love these fabrics.

And those are my finds for this week.  I hope you found something useful that will come in handy!

Woke up with a headache this morning.  Actually I awoke at 3 am with it, took something, fell back asleep and still had it when I got up at 6.  Still have it now.  I hope it goes off.  I hate having a headache.  Blah . . .

Could you spare a few prayers for my ex Mission President and his wife, the Ulriche's.  He has been diagnosed with bladder Cancer. They are wonderful people, and did so much for the Missionaries and the Manchester Mission while they were serving here. I love them to pieces. Thank you!

In the English Kitchen this morning  . . .  Perfectly Cooked Oatmeal.  Yum!

Have a beautiful Friday.  Don't forget!

  4. Hi Marie~

Love your, Friday Finds. I especially love the chocolate pie, my husbands favorite! Fall is when the baking bug bites me, and chocolate pie seems like a wonderful dessert for Sunday.

I would love to crochet an autumn wreath, the little crochet leaves would be so perfect on it, and they don't look too difficult. Very cute!

I just love all things pumpkin, the jam looks delightful and so do the pumpkin Pop-Tarts. And, who would ever think to carve flames on the pumpkins and use them for a faux fire...adorable.

Thanks for sharing, loved it all!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb

  8. Sending prayers for your ex mission president. Hopefully, it isn't advanced and he will be OK.
I did enjoy going through your finds. You had a lot of cute Halloween ones and I liked the Christmas Stars. It was fun to see differenct ways to use Pumpkins. The Pumpkin Pop Tart sounded yummy.
I felt sad that you had a headache. I used to get early morning headaches a lot but have been free of them for many years.
Take good care of yourself my dear friend.
Sending prayers, love and hugs to you!
