My Favourite things . . .

These are a few of my favourite things.  Maybe some of them are yours also!  A few of the things which catch my eye, inspire me, pluck at my heart strings, make me smile, intrigue me or that I just plain enjoy. I hope that they will do the same for you.

“Has the day of miracles ceased?

“Or have angels ceased to appear unto the children of men? Or has he withheld the power of the Holy Ghost from them? Or will he, so long as time shall last, or the earth shall stand, or there shall be one man upon the face thereof to be saved?

“Behold I say unto you, Nay; for … it is by faith that angels appear and minister unto men. …

And those are my favourite things for this week  . . . I just like pretty things  I guess!

How is everyone doing with everything?  Trying hard to be positive here.  I really am.  It doesn't bother me not being able to go out anywhere. I have always been a real home body anyways.  Wha bothers me is not being able to get garden seeds, or grocery delivery slots, or the fear that strikes my belly every time the doorbell rings.  Treating everything that comes into the house with suspicion and like the enemy.  There are worse things. This too shall pass  . . .

A thought to carry with you . . .

  1. Hi Marie, glad you are all hanging in there. Garden Seeds are hard to get here, in Delaware, too, but Amazon has them so check it out. We are all hunkered down with lots of prayers going up to the Lord for every one. Dale

    1. Scary stuff Monique, but if we do the things we are supposed to do and should be doing, we can hopefully weather this out! Take care! xoxo

  3. Yes, I am doing fine. Like you I'm a homebody and am used to living alone, but I do miss the visits with friends and family I have a friend in the hospital who hasn't been allowed visitors, That has to hard on her. So I'm grateful for my health and my home where we are just fine. Take care and remember we'll all get through this together.

  4. Hi Marie, loved your favourites, today. I must say, your blogs are a bright spot in my day. It is sunny here, too, but the wind is nippy. We were out to get some groceries but lines were long so we just came home. Stores should be less busy after Easter but I did want some hot cross buns, certainly not a necessity, though. Perhaps I should try to make some. Take care. Hugs and love, Elaine

  5. I will be making some today Elaine! But as you say not a necessity, but rather a tradition. The concern now is the spread of it from animals to humans, they say, with some big cats having caught it. We are very careful with our dog, but people do let their cats wander freely. That is a concern! Love and hugs to you always. xoxo

  6. You do have such fun favorite things that always warm my heart and leave me smiling. I really loved all of them today. I especially loved the cute sweater and skirt and that pink car with the valentines. Thanks for lifting my heart while reading this one.
    Blessings, love, prayers and hugs!

Your comments mean the world to me, and while I may not be able to address each one individually, each one is important to me and each one counts. Thanks so much!
