My Friday Finds . . .

A few of the things  I find each week that pique my interest, bring me joy, inspire me to learn, create, do, become, inspire memories . . . maybe they will do the same for you!

I had not seen this poem in a very long time. It made me think of when I was a child and was taught not to ever touch the eggs in a bird's nest.  I remember finding a robin's nest and seeing the blue eggs in it, but remembering not to touch them.

I always loved this one too.
I could not find a source, but aren't these needle felted snow drops beautiful?

Half Baked Harvest.  I aim to try these noodles one day.

Design indulgences.  Old globe lights and crystal plates.  Great cake plates!
These are awfully cute, but again no source.

Help!  I can't find a source for this either!!

Kates Creative Space.  Nutcracker Peg doll ornaments.
Home Talk. DIY Rope Basket.

Junk girl on Facebook.  Drawers into night stands.  Love these.

The Country Chic Cottage.  DIY Mosquito repellent candles. It will be mosquito season before you know it.

First Home Love Life.  Using gel bleach to get rid of mold and mildew.
One Good Thing.  I knew those papertowel and toilet paper tubes would come in handy for something.

Apparently rubbing a bar of soap over the bathroom mirror will help to prevent it from steaming up?  Who knew!

Container Store. How to organise beneath the sink.
There's just one Mommy.  Tin Can Stilts.  Such a simple thing and it would keep the kids busy for hours.

A Little Craft in Your Day.  Tin can lamp.
Savlabot.  Knit and Crochet scrunchies.

Loops and Love.  Tooth Fairy Pouch. Cute!

Charmed by Ashley. Mini Duffle sewing tutorial.
Little Bit Funky. Bible Journaling Tote.

Ameroonie Designs.  Fabric Book Covers.

And those are my finds for this week. I hope you have been inspired to create something.

A thought to carry with you . . .

In The English Kitchen today.  Jalapeno & Cheese Potato Bake.  Yummy!
Have a great Friday!.  I am putting the finishing touches on my lesson for Sunday today.  Its a hard one based on one of David A Bednar talks. He packes so much into his talks.  Don't forge!

  2. I remember making the tin can stilts when I was a little girl. I think we saw the directions on the children's show Romper Room.

The link for the rope basket is wrong...you linked to the Nutcracker peg soldiers twice. I'd love to see the directions on making the basket.

  4. Hi Marie~

I don't remember the Robin poem, but I love the poem about the shadow, always a favorite! When Averi was little, she had enough vision to see her shadow and She couldn't figure out why it followed her around...it was very funny, I think she may have named it!

I love the duffel bag, what a fun sewing project for kids, or for me! I also love the drawers made into little night stands, so cute!

Have a wonderful Saturday, sweet friend!! Love you tons XOXO

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb
