My Friday Finds . . .

A few of the things  I find each week that pique my interest, bring me joy, inspire me to learn, create, do, become, inspire memories . . . maybe they will do the same for you!
Mendy on Flickr.  Poppit paper dolls.  A bit of fun!
No source.  Turn your index finger into a Super Hero.
Loving these high wire clothes pins.  Again no source, but how fun are they!
One Little Project.  Homemade Fudgsicles.  Oh, I miss fudgsicles.  We can't get jello pudding here either. This is probably a good thing.

Hopemore Studio.  Inspiration only.
Mano Keller, matchbox collages.
Coco Style on IG.  Someone else to follow. Her work is brilliant.
I couldn't find the source for these, but how cute are these Christmas Cones?
Planet Penny. Clothespin Angels.
Red Ted Art.  Paper Mache summer fruit bowls.
Just because  . . . .
Something we all need to be doing at the moment.  A collective voice of prayer.

Yarn and Hooks.  Free pattern.

Lullaby Lodge.  Crochet Triangles.

Filmed on Stage. Free plays and musicals you can stream and watch.
Shadow Drawing. One for the kids.
Nothing in the Rule Book. Places where you can download stacks of books to read for free.

BBC Five reasons to find hope amidst all that is going on.

You Tube.  My brother did a humorous video about how to keep from touching your face.  I laughed so much at this.  He has such a great sense of humour.  One thing we all need at the moment is a reason to laugh.

And those are my finds for this week.

Last night at 8pm  we all gathered together as a country to show our support for the NHS and all those who are doing their best for us at this time.  We were asked to step out into our gardens and make some noise, clap, cheer, bang some pots and pans to let them know that we appreciate what they are doing for us all.  Taking great risks to their own lives to save the lives of others.    We participated of course, and it was wonderful to hear all the shouts, and clapping, etc.  The air rang with sounds of support.  It was a very moving and emotional moment.  We are so very grateful.

A thought to carry with you  . . .

Baked Western Sandwich with Oven Hash Browns

In the English Kitchen today  . . .  Oven Baked Western Sandwiches with Roasted Hash Browns.  Yummy diner food!

Do stay safe today.  Do all that you need to do to keep yourself and your family safe and healthy.  If you know someone who is alone, do pick up the telephone and give them a dingle to let them know you are thinking of them. It will really brighten their day. Know always that  . . .

And I do too!

  1. I love the little sail boats!

And shadow drawing...what a brilliant idea.

  2. Your brother's youtube video was funny. He has a good sense of humour. How are you and Todd managing? My husband went to NoFrills for eggs and milk and had to line up to get in as they were only allowing ten people in at a time. No flour, no oatmeal. But still lots of fresh fruit and veggies. Can't really complain. I just heard that 4 people have died on a cruise ship stranded off the coast of Panama. That must be really scary for passengers and crew alike. It's strange times we are living in right now. Take care of each other. Love and hugs, Elaine

Your comments mean the world to me, and while I may not be able to address each one individually, each one is important to me and each one counts. Thanks so much!
