We were starving when we left the Back Doctor yesterday. We hadn't had any lunch and it was after 2.  On our way back to the bus stock we spied this new restaurant that has just opened here. Five Guys. Apparently it is really big in North America. We thought we would give it a go. We each had a Little Cheese Burger and decided to share a Little Fries.  They were HUGE!  And really delicious. We couldn't finish our burgers.  It wasn't all that more expensive than the Golden arches, and they threw in a free bottomless drink. Plus they had warm peanuts in the shell you could munch on while they make your burger. No frozen patties. From scratch.   We both were impressed.

A thought to carry with you  . . .

  1. Hi Marie, we have a Five Guys near us. Their burgers are pretty good. I think tonight we will go out for fish and chips. Tomorrow is supposed to be bad - freezing rain, snow, records amount of rain - yikes! Good luck getting your lesson ready for Sunday. I know you will. I thought the strong holder was cute and so handy. Hugs, Elaine

  3. There's nothing like a burger and fries when you are really hungry. I've been to a Five Guys here and they are good.
