My Friday Finds . . .

A few of the things  I find each week that pique my interest, bring me joy, inspire me to learn, create, do, become, inspire memories . . . maybe they will do the same for you!

I love the colours in this afghan.  From Little Love Crochet on IG.  Someone else to follow!

Coffee Madeleines.  Lakeland. I adore Madeleines, and while I don't drink regular tea or coffee, I am not opposed to eating it as a cake.

No source, just inspiration.  Little matchboxes holding trucks and trees, yes please!  This year I am starting early!

Again, no source, just inspiration. What a cute Valentines cookie!

No source, just a cute idea for a tea party place setting . . .

Sewing Support.  19 free vintage apron patterns.

Patchwork Posse.  Free Christmas Embroidery Patterns.

Bake Like a Chef on IG, Winter Cap Cake.   Cute!!

Yarnspirations.  Free pattern.

The Cosy Apron.  Apricot Sugar Cookie Pies.

FRENCH FRY SEASONING - Mix together 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp chili powder, 3 TBS salt.

Maidoll on Flickr.  Brooches.   Cute!

Julie Haymaker on Flickr.  More inspiration.

Plates and Pairings.  Easy homemade Citrus salts. It is fresh citrus season!

Momypotamus. How to make your own lemon extract.

Make your own spice blends.

And those are my finds for this week.  My first of 2020.  Doesn't it seem a bit wierd to think we are in the year 2020?  Sounds so futuristic!

 A thought to carry with you  . . .

    1. Oh, I wonder why her post has gone? I am wanting to make another blanket, but this time in smaller squares I think. Oh Madeleines are fabulous! I have not made any in a while. I've been collecting photos for inspiration! xoxo

  2. Hi Marie, I have a Madeleine baking tray but for some reason, I never make them. I think they look rather elegant so perhaps I'll try this recipe. And isn't the Winter Cap Cake adorable? And the Orange and Current Scones look so delicious. I guess I'm hungry. Hope the New Year has been treating you and Todd well, Mitzie, too. Hugs, Elaine

  4. Hi Marie~

Wow, I love so many of these cute ideas! Bob loves sugar cookies and those apricot filled cookies look like a wonderful treat...maybe for Valentines Day?! Yesterday I made your chicken and dumpling recipe and it was wonderful. The dumplings were perfect and hit the spot for a cold snowy day. Your cookbook truly is my go to book if I want something tried and true, I love it!!

Hope this new year is treating you well, love you my friend!

    Hugs,
    Barb
