Not my usual Favourite Things post today. I was very late getting up. 7 a.m. and that is an hour later than I usually do. I had to help Eileen with her bathroom stuff and get her back settled in bed, and then take my shower and here I am, it's gone 8 a.m. already. I don't really have a lot of time to play this morning.
She has a CSS visit at some point today. I am hoping that the worker will sit here with her so I can go to the store and get some things I need. I am afraid to leave her on her own as she is having a lot of pain getting up and sitting down with the stitches. Not the belly ones, they seem to be okay. The other ones. In any case, I only have cat food left for one day and I need milk and a few other bits, so hopefully the worker can stay.
She did seem a bit better last night when I went to get her ready for bed. She had had a nice shower and I gave her a combination of Tylenol 1 and an Ibuprofen, which seemed to work much better. So I will have to pick up some more Ibuprofen too. She didn't rest well last night because she forgot to take her anxiety meds. so she took them this morning. I am not sure if she should have or not, but she was determined to do so. She is sleeping now. Her sleep mask is causing a blister on her nose. She didn't have that problem with the one she was testing out. That's a problem for the workers to sort.
In any case, I didn't want anyone to worry. Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with my regular post. 😊
In the meantime, here is a thought to carry with you . . . from my ME calendar . . .

In The English Kitchen today . . . Teriyaki Turkey Meatballs. Simple, easy and delicious. Don't like ground turkey? You can always use beef, pork or chicken. It's very user friendly.
I hope that you have a beautiful day today. Its mostly cloudy here and very windy, but no rain until tomorrow, which is why I need to get out today. In any case, have a great day! Don't forget!
