Eileen's dad has it all sorted for her operation. He's taking her into Halifax on the 4th for a dinner date and then he is taking her to her sister Amanda's where they will stay overnight and then the next day into Halifax and he will stay in there with her for the next two days and bring her back to mine when they release her.  She seems to be quite happy with that arrangement so I will just concentrate on making sure the room is ready for her when she gets back.  Simple.

In The English Kitchen today, Welsh Rarebit Poutine.  Simple to make and easily one of the most delicious things I have made in recent days. This was sooooo good! Crispy homemade air fryer chips, topped with cheese and a lush Welsh Rarebit cheese sauce.  Seriously tasty!

I hope you have a fabulous Thursday. It's a birthday week this week for two ladies on the street, so I am going across to Jeanettes this afternoon to celebrate hers and Zila's from next door.  Happy Birthday to them!  I hope you have a lovely day today.
