A little progress each day
adds up to big results•。★★ 。* 。

I have an appointment now for the Nail Surgery Clinic on the 17th September.  Scared about that.  I have to be there at 9 am and wear open toed shoes.  A bit of a conundrum as I only have 3 pair of shoes and one of them are open toed and I don't want to cut the toe area out of them.  What to do, what to do  . . .  I tried looking online last night, but I couldn't find any in my size that were available.  Bad time of year to be buying open toed shoes. I could get lots of 9's and 10's but no 6's in wide.  I Might just have to buy a pair of open toed slippers.

Oh no  . . . all my nightmares are coming true.
I'm going to be that lady
walking around outdoors in her
slippers.

😭

Hungarian Goulash

In The English Kitchen today  . . .  Hungarian Goulash.  A delicious and simple stew.

Have a fabulous Friday!  Don't forget!

  1. Oh my darling. Maybe you could find a pair of sandals on sale somewhere.

I love the things you have shown. I must not look too hard or I will be up all night dreaming of what I could do if I just organised myself.

    1. I've been looking Suzan, I have found sandals, but they are all in larger sizes. I have a very common size of foot I guess and sandals on sale in my size are very scarce this time of year! I will figure something out! Love you! xoxo

  2. Will be saying a prayer for you that all goes well with the surgery and that you find some shoes to wear. Definitely do not cut out the toes of the shoes you have. If you have to do so, wear slippers. I've seen some that really don't look like slippers and would work well. I imagine you will be wearing them for awhile while the toe heals up too.

    1. Yes, I will be having to wear them for probably a couple of weeks. I am not cutting the toes out of my shoes for sure. I might see if I can find some flip flops! Thanks Pam! Your prayers are very much appreciated! xoxo

  3. Praying you will find some flip flops at the least...or maybe cheapo slippers from Walmart (maybe they are not over there)...and really? You could just stay home for a few weeks dear...make it a kind of mini-vacation...and put your feet up and REST...do stitchery etc. When I was pregnant with my last child...and very ill with morning sickness...whole 9 months...I did a LOT of counted cross stitch...and have never again tackled such a large project. But they came out beautiful. Isn't that what life seem about? Making lemonade of the lemons life deals us? Take care!! Elizabeth

  4. You will be in my prayers that you can find some open toed shoes and that the surgery goes well. Over here, we were flip flops so that’s as open toed as ou can get.
I enjoyed your finds today as always. I think my favorites are the crocheted ones because I dream that I might can try a pattern one of these day.
I loved the crocheted scarf and the cute little dress.
I like to look throught them all. I wish I was talented in the painting and etc. but alas, I am not.
Blessings and hugs for this one!
