My Favorite Things . . .

 

These are some of the things in life that I enjoy, and which make me happy, inspire me, or put a smile on my face. Maybe some of them are yours too.  Let's share! 

Usually on Wednesday nights I join my dad at a local eatery for supper, but because I am going out to lunch today with my sister and my cousin, I didn't really want to eat out two days in a row.  I suggested he come here for supper instead. I told him I would make him a Toasted Bologna and Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Soup. (He likes that.) So that is what he did.  Having my father here for supper is one of my most favorite of things.  He enjoyed his sandwich very much. I had homemade bread to make it with and British Heinz Tomato soup.  I think he was happy. He did not want dessert for some reason.

In The English Kitchen today  . . . Honey Lemon Chicken.  This was fabulous. A new favorite thing!
