Something for Sunday . . .

(Holly Hobbie)

I hardly ever have enough time these days to do a proper post on Sunday mornings, so I am going to start something new.  I am just going to post a picture, and then you can tell me what it makes you feel or think in the comments.  I will too.

  1. My feelings on this are two-fold. The art of Holly Hobbie defines my teen years. I loved her work so much. Between ME and her, they were my inspiration. SB would come a bit later. And bakeshops. We had a brilliant family owned bakery at our local strip mall, called Markey's. They had the best donut twists. The smell whenever you walked by that place was phenomenal. Happy Sunday all! xoxo

  2. Hi Marie, wow, this has brought me lovely memories this morning. My mum used to work in a bakery and the window would always be full of delicious goodies and a false wedding cake!!

    1. What a lovely memory Kate! I can remember the bake shop they had at the Parade when I first moved over here used to have false cakes in the window. False or not, they always looked really good! God bless! Love and hugs, xoxo
