  1. Hello Marie. It is quite late for me. Tonight we went to Jamie's in Brisbane to celebrate Bethany's birthday. The meals were fine but I ordered a small truffle tagliatelle. It was so tiny. I really could have done with a bit more. I normally only order one course. It was yummy but whatever they put on the top of the dish was not real truffle but some thing preserved with the most unsatisfactory texture. I enjoyed the pasta very though. It is not all that cheap but they do have a reasonable lunch deal. So if I go again I will try lunch.

Beth bought her own cake. It was vegan, gluten free creation. There were various celebrity chefs and I offered them the last slice. Being rude and interrupting them briefly was worth the look on their faces.

    God bless your day.

  3. Sounds like a great experience Suzan! However expensive. Oh, those ritzy places always give you little dots on plates! And you pay three times as much for them! haha xoxo

Happy to hear you have been Grannied well and truly Monique! You will never look back! I hope your family is all prepared for the lovely crochet goodies you will be making them! xoxo PS - tried felting too, it hurt my fingers, ouch! Those needles are sharp especially if you miss!

  4. Great ideas today as usual....I have already looked at the chocolate peanut crispy no bake, looks a good idea, I don't have any maple syrup but maybe I can think of a substitute ?....I'm now going to have a look at the slippers...if they are easy maybe Mary could try to knit them...I have a lot of wool hanging around.....hope you are enjoying your Young visitors tonight.....hope also that you have had a good day, when do you go back about your knee ?...As I sit here I hear loud singing, giggling, band music, all coming from the rec. this is the family camp out night. The school put it on every year. There are tents put up on the rec and a stage area. The kids do singing acting, playing etc some adults also perform telling stories, the way the wind is going tonight all the sound is coming in the Windows, but it is so nice to hear the kids having fun....thankfully it's a nice dry night so don't think there will be any.....I want to go home.....in the middle of the night LOL...night night to you Todd and Mitzie xxx
