My Friday Finds . . .

A few of the things I find each week that inspire me to want to do better, to create, to become better, to read more, to watch, to just DO something! Things that delight, inspire, and bring me joy.  Maybe they will do the same thing for you!

Very cute, crochet mug hug cosy, from Tanya Eberhardt.

Make your own Sea Shell Candles.  I love these.  I need to find some sea shells! From Burkatron. (where do people get these names?) These are also a very simple make.

*.˛.°You either get bitter or you get better.
Its that simple.  You either take
what has been dealt to you and allow
it to make you a better person,
or you allow it to tear you down.
The choice does not belong to fate,
it belongs to you.

  1. I made seashell candles a few years ago from shells collected on a trip to BC. It's a crafting day for sure as there was lots of snow and ice overnight causing terrible driving conditions. Even have the snowblower going today.

  3. Yum! Thank you for the link to the cookie butter recipes. I recently enjoyed crumpets with cookie butter at local tea shop. The friend I was with had shared it was a favorite for her and her daughter so I shared the link with them and have been assured they will be making some.
