And I do too!

  1. Hi, Marie! Sooo many goodies and great ideas this week! Gosh, but that watermelon salad looks good... Don't you love when they call things "steaks" now--cauliflowers steaks, watermelon steaks! ;) And VERY interesting way to keep basil fresh in the fridge. Fun catching up with your posts this week... and just LOVING all your new illustrations. You create the sweetest, happiest things!! :))) Wishing you all there a love-ly weekend now ((LOVE & BIG HUG))

  2. Marie I have loved your post today. I love liberty fabrics and have had some clothes made out of them. So much I liked so much and have a heap of things to look at.

I love the look of that blanket and I have heaps of bits and pieces that could be put to great use as I am always knitting something. I think I shall do one.

The illustrations are beautiful. If the cat was grey and white it would be my MIss Nimbus to perfection. I just love your work and have one already. She is my ruby red treasure.

I went to a patchwork shop today and by co-incidence I was given a very late birthday present of $50 yesterday. I bought a clover hoop for embroidery and some exquisite Beatrix Potter fabrics to play around with too.

God bless your day and have a smile and laugh for me.

  3. The bra fitting reminded me of Call The Midwife..that episode:)

Your cat:) This is the first in it's genre and cat lovers should unite and ask for a line of these:)

Interesting things Marie..I like trying new things..BTW there is a beautiful download at The Graphics Fairy today..I think you would like it..many of my favorite things on one image.

  4. I love, LOVE Cauliflower Steaks Tracy! Thank you so much re your kind words ref my art. :-) Love and hugs! xoxo

Thanks Suzan! So happy you enjoyed much of what I shared! I am intrigued at the thought of Beatrix Potter Fabrics. Lucky, lucky! xoxo

Thanks Monique! Not sure about the cat myself, but it is what came out. Off now to check out The Graphics Fairy! If you like it I am sure I would too! xoxo

  5. I look forward to your"finds" every passing week.. I have used a lot of them.. Thank you for keeping your schedule..

  6. Marie, I read your blog daily -- and I look forward to each day's new postings. Thank you for offering the giveaway -- and I hope that I'm your winner!

  7. What great things you've posted this week. I love the articles on seven ways to eat healthier and that which is about herbs. I grew basil very successfully last year and so learned pretty early on regarding it's harvesting. I only have a balcony but it's amazing how much one can grow in a small space.

The recipe for apple parsnip soup looks gorgeous and is now on my "to cook" list. And your art work never ceases to make me smile. You're so very talented Marie. Very blessed indeed. Thanks ever so much for all your hard work on your blogs. I so enjoy reading them daily.

  8. Ahhh Tatiana, I am a schedule type of person, lol I think I get that from my mom! Love you! xoxo

Thanks Faith! I just thought it was about time that I gave something back! You all give me so much each day with your lovely comments! xoxo

I am glad that you do Noelle! I am in the middle of planning my own garden now. Mostly in pots. That way I can move them about! Or, maybe Todd can move them about while I supervise! xoxo

  9. You are amazing as always dear friend. I do like your drawings and they are both charming.
I really liked your fines.I feel well taught with the bra fitting which is need and the keyboard shortcuts.
Eating Healthier is always a goal of mine and this puts it in perspective.
The mail organizing with old books; so creative.
I truthfully would love to make some lap blankets for others and me; I am always cold.
With the mission I don't know if we will get to the garden part.
I enjoyed it all; thanks for all you do in finding these great ideas.
    Sending loving thoughts your way!

  10. Thanks LeAnn! with the mission I doubt we will get to the garden part either! But it is fun to dream! Love and hugs! xoxo

  11. Oh the drawings are just delightful. I love the little girl but the Catitude is just purfect!! I would love for you to send them to me.
Thank you for your website which I visit often.
