And those are my finds for this week!  I hope something twigged your interest!

Cindy and I popped over to bring some supper to dad yesterday and see how he was getting on. He was understandably a bit blue, but he perked up at seeing us. Cindy got his bed made, and I did some dishes done, fed his cat. We did a few of the things that just need doing daily. He is not good at that these days. We showed him his Birthday messages on Facebook. We just kept him company for a bit. He appreciated it.

And with that I will leave you with a thought for today   . . .

In The English Kitchen today,  Cheesy Butter Biscuit Sticks.  These are some good. I had one cold and leftover for breakfast this morning and it was still really delicious. That says something.

I  hope you have a lovely day!  I am feeling pretty tired this morning. I have no idea why. Just one of those days I guess!  Whatever you get up to, don't forget!

  2. I made a stitch book last year, very satisfying. I have been up and out early and back home, had a surgeon visit, 2 months after knee revision surgery. He is really pleased with my progress. I feel as if I've done a days work and it is only 9:30 The day is mine now. Have a good Friday, rest up and feel better.

  4. I love the idea of the flower pot oven to create some heat. If I loose power here I also would loose my heat. It runs on electricity. Thankfully we don't loose power very often. I love how you have time with your sister and dad. Family is so important!

  5. After all the excitement of his birthday on Wednesday, your Dad will be feeling a little blue. He's so lucky to have such devoted daughters ready and willing to help him. Take gentle care. Love and hugs, Elaine (in Toronto)
