My Friday Finds . . .

A few of the things  I find each week that pique my interest, bring me joy, inspire me to learn, create, do, become, inspire memories . . . maybe they will do the same for you!

Every Thursday night at 8 pm, people all over the country, including our Prime Minister are popping outside their doors and into the garden, on the balcony, etc. to express their support and thanks for our care workers and NHS who are doing an amazing job, despite not having the proper equipment to do it with etc.  Todd and I were out there in our jim jams in the back garden making some noise also. It is an amazing feeling.  Your heart just fills with gratitude and hope, two things which we all need at the moment. I am so grateful for having always lived in countries where health care was available free of charge. We should never take that for granted.

Sophie Alport.  All things Bees.

This is one of her mugs.  Isn't it cute?  The shop is closed now, but maybe one day  . . .

I posted this on my FB page yesterday, but it could apply to anywhere we live.  When this is all over our businesses will need us more than ever. We should do all we can to support local and national businesses  to help get them back on their feet.

Crochet edged cloth doilies.  Very easy when you know how to read Japanese Crochet Symbols.  For years that is what I used to crochet.

There is a tutorial on this on Dancing Barefoot.  Very simple.

The Kitchn.  How to make a single jar of jam.   This could come in very handy.

Homestead Today.  Skills we might all need a one point or another.

Tips Bulletin. This might also come in handy.

Something else which might come in handy. You never know.

Just in case you have ever wondered.

I'm going to try this.

And this  . . . .

Love Crafts.  Puppet Washcloths.

Same place, Garter Square Wash Cloths.  Free pattern.

Have a great Friday.  We are all in this together. This will not last forever.  We just have to be patient and have faith. Know always that you are not alone and don't forget!

  1. Hi, Marie! Friday already... and now we're in April too! How did that happen so fast?! And I don't know, but the days seem an extra bit of a blur lately... LOL! Lovely with the support of the NHS--beautiful! It is amazing how health care works are doing it. It's been great here in Norway too. And I've been impressed with how our government has been handling things too. We enter week 4 of lockdown next week. :/ LOVE all the good, useful things shared here today, all the practical skills. Now more than ever, I'm so glad I know how to do many things to keep our home running well in times like these. I like that small batch jam! And how pretty those doilies/edging pattern! That easy-peasy pizza dough looks so good. And so does your Mac & Veg--YUM!! Be taking good care there, my sweet sister-friend... MUCH LOVE to you, Todd and dear Mitzie ((LOVE & BIG HUGS))

    1. You and TJ stay safe also Tracy, and Luna. Todd and I imposed a lockdown on ourselves before the Government got involved. We thought it best. So far so good. We are coping. Love you very much! I am sure, as with me, your faith is helping you a lot! xoxo
