A few of the things  I find each week that pique my interest, bring me joy, inspire me to learn, create, do, become, inspire memories . . . maybe they will do the same for you!

I want to wish my son Doug a very Happy Birthday today!  Its hard to believe that he is turning 38!  I am so grateful for him and love him so very much.  Thanks be to God that he is still with us after that heart attack scare earlier this year.  He is a loving, caring, gentle and thoughtful man, father, husband and son. Love you Doug! Happy Birthday!

A thought to carry with you!

Had a lovely visit with Tina yesterday. It was so good to see her.  She does have one broken bone in her back, but she has a brace (however uncomfortable to wear) and was thinking that she would be allowed to go home today.  She looked wonderful and was in very good spirits.  She has  ways to go in her recovery, but is optimistic.  She appreciates all of your prayers and well wishes and has been uplifted by them!

In The English Kitchen today . . . .  Butterscotch Pumpkin Loaf. TO DIE FOR!

Have a beautiful Saturday. I will be putting the finishing touches on my lesson for tomorrow.  I am not sure if I will make it on tomorrow morning or not, so if I don't, please don't worry.  I will just be polishing off my lesson!    Don't forget!

    1. Thanks very much Elizabeth. I just think that if someone can take the time to comment, I should take the time to respond. Mind you if it was hundreds and hundreds of comments that would be really difficult I think! xoxo

  5. Wow, this one had so many good items to look at and think about. I grabbed the Fudge recipe. I need to make some for a RS activity. Also, the Butterscotch pumpkin loaf looks yummy.
I do think I noted on Facebook that your son had a birthday.
I'm sad to hear about your friend Tina; I will keep her in my prayers.
    Blessings and hugs!
