My Friday Finds

I am going to try this next time I have a headache.

 Makes sense  . . .

No source, but you don't need one.  The shape of this cloth scarf depends on where you put the button or the button hole.

I love this skirt although for me it would have to be a whole lot longer.  New Girl Skirt from Allison Dykhuizen on Ravelry.  Not free but not expensive either.

Its just knit squares. Pour Mes Jolies Momes. It speaks to my bright colour loving heart.

All Free Knitting.  Patch Sampler Throw.  An opportunity to try out a bunch of different stitches.

Daisy Cottage Designs.  This will be my next project I think once I finish my mom's shawl.

I cannot resist just showing you one last blanket/throw because it is so beautiful. Like a stained glass window and a great way to use up yarn scraps.  From Crochet Magazine

Its Always Autumn.  Easy Tee Shirt Midi Dress Sewing Tutorial.

Sew Much Ado.  Reusable Swifter Duster Cloths.

Mom4Real.  Homemade Dishwasher Tabs.  A simple recipe using simple ingredients.

Just Be Crafty.  Farmer's Market Bag tutorial.

Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate.  What a great idea! Play Pennies.

Chasing Foxes.  Five sugar scrubs for beautiful skin using natural ingredients.

How to store meat without refrigeration.  From Homestead Survival.

The Mountainview Cottage.  Free Bathroom Printables. Vintage looking.

Bullet Journaling, header templates. Kate Louise.

Chocolate Glazed Black Cat Donuts. From Domestic Gothess.

How to choose the right size jar.  I never knew any of this!

And those are my finds for this week.  I hope you found something useful that will come in handy!

  2. I do remember a time when T-shirt dresses were popular and now I guess they've made a comeback. I even took a class way back when on how to sew with T-shirt fabric. Hope you have a lovely day and enjoy the time spent with friends ! Have a fantastic Friday!

  3. Hi Marie~

What great finds! Some really wonderful ideas and things I had no idea about, like the jars. I just use the jars I have on hand...small or wide mouth, I never thought it made a difference...now I know... :0) I love the skirt, and the crochet market bag, what great ideas. I would really like to cut down on those plastic grocery bags, they are such a nuisance! Now, I really want to make a few scarfs with the rectangular pattern. Sometimes it's just my neck I want to keep warm, without too much bulk under or over my coat, very cute! Thank you for sharing with us.

    Have a great day!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb
