My Friday Finds . . .

A few of the things I find each week that delight, inspire, and bring me joy.  Maybe they will do the same thing for you!

A Fall to do list from  Lemon Thistle.  Plus you could colour the trees and leaves in for fun. I've already bought the apples!

From Hungry Happenings.  Jack O Lantern Cookies, and they're peanut butter, one of my favourite kinds of cookies!

With the right colours, this Crochet Bear Lovely could be for a girl or a boy.  Free pattern from Sewrella.

Chest Freezer Storage Organization with dollar/pound store bins. From Practically Functional.  It's a whole system.  Could also work for a smaller freezer.

While I am at it . . .  you can do the same for your refrigerator. From One Good Thing

Free Crochet Pattern for moccasins to fit the whole family.  I can see these in pink!  From Yarnspirations.  Video included with the free pattern.

Its Always Autumn.  Free Swing Tunic Pattern, perfect for wearing with leggings.  So comfy.

Just in case you wanted to know  . . .

OOPS!  How did he get in here.

A bit of levity and eye candy.

Red Ted Art.  Walnut Reindeer ornaments for the kids to make. So much fun!

Cinnamon Stick Christmas Trees.  So fun! No source, but they look simple enough.  Cinnamon sticks, pine branch pipe cleaners cut into three lengths, some coloured buttons, twine for hanging and glue. Easy peasy.

From No Biggie.  DIY Mini Snow Globes.  These are cute! I wonder if we can get the clear plastic Christmas Light thingies here??

Now, this  . . . is cute! No source, No instructions  . . . just cute.

From She Saved.  Free printable Melted Snowman water bottle labels.  Sooooo cute!!

The Bee paintings of Angie Renfro. I love them.  Simple and yet so beautiful.

Little Acorn free crocheting pattern.  From Hooked on Homemade Happiness.  Cute!

Mmmm . . .  Easy Pickled Vegetables.  From Cooking Isl

Design Dazzle, 13 fantastic autumnal drinks.  They look really tasty!

Old sweaters, new mittens.  Love these.  I can't find the source for these however with the pattern.  I keep hitting a dead end, but I really like this idea.

A Patchwork Lampshade.  From Emma Leith. I love this idea.

How to decoupage a quilt pattern onto an old chair using scrapbook papers.  Love LOVE this idea. Debi's Design Diary.  Sweet!

And those are my finds for this week.  I hope you found something you liked!

Had a positively brilliant day yesterday although I got nothing done around here at all.  Our friends came early in the morning as their place was being fumigated.  I had baked Bran Muffins because I thought they might be hungry, so we ate those and chatted.  Then we went to Costco.  Guess who has a Costco card now!  Yep, we do.  Todd took his old army papers and they let us join.  So now I won't be begging people to take me.  Of course I got a few goodies there that I was wanting.  Forgot the non-stick spray, but now I have a card, we can go back anytime!   Then we had some lunch at Costco.  Hotdogs all around. So tasty.  Back home and we finished the afternoon playing Scrabble. It was so much fun!  Haven't had that much fun in ages.  I messaged Tina last night and said to her, we finally found a way to keep Tony from going to sleep.  SCRABBLE!  He won, but what fun we had!

A thought to carry with you  . . .

I'll admit its a bit unconventional, but this is delicious. In the kitchen today  . . . A Hamburger & Chicken Pie.  Designed to make good use of your leftovers and make a little stretch a long way.   Triple crusted and fabulously tasty!

Hope your Friday is all tickety boo!  Don't forget!

  2. Good morning Marie. I bought a heap of veg yesterday and I was supposed to cook them and sort them today. Instead I took mum to see Victoria and Abdul. I enjoyed the movie very much. It was late afternoon and I bought a latte and raspberry muffin and feasted away, I wonder if there is a book.

I have noted the pickle page as i think I could do some, The hot weather of last week has gone away and I am enjoying the cooler weather while it lasts. I will have to replace my costco card soon. Did they have the Christmas trees etc up? I just wish ours was less than a 120km round trip.

    God bless.

  3. I love the tunic and leggings look. I see them everywhere for everyday and dressed up too. That is one addition I'd like to add to my closet. But alas there is little money for that. A girl can dream anyway! Glad you had such a fun day! The homework and all will wait quite nicely. I'm going shopping with my sister today and my house work will be there for another day too. Happy Friday !

  4. Happy Friday Pam! I hope you enjoyed the shopping trip with your sister! I miss spending time with mine. We were always so close. I know what you mean about having not a lot of income for little extras. We are in the same boat! xoxo

Thanks Suzan. I bet you are enjoying your wee one so very much! I did not see Christmas Trees in Costco, but then again, I head right for the grocery part and don't look at much else! xoxo

Thanks Tracy. Happy weekend to you, TJ and Luna also! Love and hugs right back! xoxo

  6. Of my gosh, this was a lot of fun finds and I enjoyed looking through them all. There are a few that I will look at the links too. I would make more comments on those I loved but I think I had better go to bed.
I am happy you had such a good time with friends snacking, going to Costco's and playing a game. It sounds like such a fun time.

  7. Thanks Sybil! Like you I get frustrated when I can't find what I am looking for in the refrigerator, especially if I know it is in there. I hate having to empty out half the fridge to find it! Love you! xoxo

Thanks LeAnn! I think sometimes we get to busy with the minutae of every day life that we forget to have fun. Playing Scrabble with our friends was just fun. I think we need a fun day every now and then! Love and hugs! xoxo
