Friday Finds . . .

 A few of the wow moments, or things I discover each week that tickle my fancy.  I hope that they may inspire or tickle yours too!

Because sometimes I need all the help I can get.   My days seem to evaporate into the ether.   Most days end with me wondering where the time went and not having gotten done half of what I wanted to get done.   Help from The Inspired Room.

How to grow your own Sprouts.  Eating sprouts is good for you.  My sister sprouts her own buckwheat and uses it to make the most delicious granola clusters, etc. I found this on Mind Body Green.

We lead such busy lives in these modern times.  55 Gentle Ways to Take Care of Yourself, when you are busy, busy, busy  . . .  on The Freedom Experiment.   There is some really good stuff in this article designed to help us slow down and smell the roses once in a while, and be just generally kinder to ourselves.

It's too late to think about what to do when an emergency has already hit us.  The time to prepare is now.    72 Hour packs are the thing we all need to have on hand.  There are some great instructions on The Sweeting Spot.   Excellent resource!  WE said we were going to do this this year and we haven't yet.  Consider this a  kick up the backside a Moi!

Storage solutions for every little thing from BHG. Just look at this fab idea for storing batteries.  It sure would help to keep them tidy.  Ours are just all thrown into a drawer.  I need help with organization.  Thank you Pinterest for all of the fabulous hints and tips stored on your site!

Not this is absolutely brilliant.   A site where you can click on exactly what you have in the fridge to work with and it gives you options on what to do with it.   My Fridge Food. Absolutely brilliant!

    Monique, I love tomatoes with macaroni. It's an old favourite. I bought my self a bag of buckwheat to sprout but haven't done any yet. I am a bit afraid, but I do want to try. My sister always does really well with it! xxoo

  10. Oh Marie, I have missed reading your posts. This was was magnificent. In fact, I loved everyone of the ideas and I will look further on them all. These are a must need in my house right now. My plan to get something complete over my blog vacation which didn't work out the way I planned.
