I am off to the hospital bright and early this morning so I don't have a lot of time to write. I thought we could all use a smile however so here is a little video from the CBC news of my grandson Luke's class's apple picking adventure. Luke is the cutie pie who has lost his tooth . He is also that cutie pie you see down there in the thumbnail with the blue jacket and orange and red hat. Smile!

What a wonderful class excursion. It looks like a heap of fun was had by all and several of the darlings stole my heart. It is great to see the children exploring and eating the natural treats.

ReplyDeleteI'm off to London today. My daughter has got a cancellation appointment tomorrow morning with the consultant at the Royal London hospital so we'll stay over tonight. Hoping and praying this is the beginning of the end of her problems. Xxx
Thanks very much Suzan and Kate. All done and dusted now but the waiting. He has an appointment in two weeks time for the results. For what its worth the Dr said he couldn't feel anything cancerous, so we were a bit encouraged by that. Everyone was so kind as well, and the nurses were great. We could not have been treated better. I will be keeping your daughter in my prayers for tomorrow Kate, and you too! Todd is having a well deserved nap now. xoxo

Thanks Pam, Suzan and Monique. He was really nervous (understandably so) going in. They let me stay with him for almost the whole time (except for the procedure of course), but I have to say the people at the hospital are just so compassionate and kind. We like to complain about our health service sometimes, but we have a lot of really good people working in it. Love and hugs! xoxo
