and little it cost in the giving,
But like morning light,
it scattered the night,
and made the day worth living.

In The English Kitchen today . . . Easy Taco Stuffed Shells. An old family favorite. All the flavors of a taco tucked into large pasta shells and topped with your favorite taco toppings.
Doug and Jake ended up coming for a short visit yesterday afternoon. It was a nice surprise. Kayla was still not well so they delayed their leaving until today. It's their wedding anniversary today. 22 years. Happy Anniversary to them!
I hope you have a lovely Thursday. Be happy. Be blessed. Keep yourself cool and don't forget!

Lovely favourites today. We are inside due to the air quality of terrible smoke smell. Goodness know what it is like closer to the fires. How nice you had another visit with Doug and Jake. Hoping Thursday is a good day.
ReplyDeleteOh, those pink dahlias! Happy anniversary to your sweet children! Stay cool, stay happy, smile, Virginia
ReplyDeleteWell, bless Doug for coming with son for a little more visit...a little is better than nothing!! Hopefully further plans will work out better. A smoky sky day here...even thus far away they say it is from Canada fires...so sad thinking of all the trees, etc taken in the fires!!
