A Pretty Pink Post ...
Pink is one of my favourite colours. It has ever been so. I can remember in highschool sewing myself a beautiful dress (I thought so at any rate) which was in pink and white flocked swiss dot cotton. Oh how I loved that dress. I still have pink sweaters I adore and several pink dresses that I love to wear. Pink makes me happy. I am a girlie girl all the way!
You guessed it. This is a pink post.
Where do I sign up? I just adore this pink pay phone. I don't think pay phones such as this even exist anymore, but mores the pity. Can you imagine what a talking feature of the home this would be? (Not to mention money spinner! Who wouldn't love the chance to talk on a pink pay phone!)
Pink fridge anyone? Actually my friend Jo has a smeg fridge and it's very small. I like much larger fridge. Can you imagine a kitchen with nothing but pink appliances? I think it might be a bit much, but fun anyways.
These I could cope with. They might even get me out walking. Do ya think?
Pink sneakers. Love, LOVE!
Oh I wish . . . pink nails, pink glitter and a bit of sparkly rhinestones. How adorable. I have always wanted to have a manicure. I've never had one, or a pedicure either. I almost had my nails done before I went home for my daughter's wedding two summers ago, but I chickened out at the last minute. I am such a lazy person and I don't think I could have kept it up or even been able to keep it up financially speaking and then I would have ended up with horrible nails.
All together now . . . awwww . . .
Now THAT'S what I call pretty in pink! So sweet!
Love, Love, LOVE pink lipstick and I would wear it if I had lips that suited lipstick. Can you believe I have never worn lipstick? I have never felt comfortable wearing it. I don't think I have pretty lips and so I don't want them to stand out. I have skinny lips. I would love fuller lips . . . not a trout pout per se, but just a bit fuller if you know what I mean.
P . . . p . . . p . . . pink macarons! I love macarons. Such sweet little light bites of gorgeousness. I have never tried making my own. I know . . . I really should sometime and when I do . . . I should make them PINK ones!
Now wouldn't this be fun? If one was young and had the hair and was brave enough. The young are always brave don't you think? Seriously if I live long enough to get old and have really white hair, I am going to put a pink rinse in it . . . not bright glaring pink . . . just a pink flush. And why not?
Pink Lemonade! Oh, I so love pink lemonade. That is one thing I miss over here in the UK. Frozen drink mixes like Pink Lemonade. I wonder why they don't have them here? Crazy. I used to have a whole drawer in my freezer back home that had frozen drink mixes in it. Hawaiian Punch. My kids loved it. (Shhh . . . so did I!)
Sigh . . . I love earrings. I love pink earrings. I love pink earrings with pink glittery rhinestones and crystals in them. Sigh . . .
I will never be able to wear high heels again. I don't think I ever wore heels this high anyways . . . kind of dangerous I think. An accident waiting to happen, but so pretty . . .
Mitzie is feeling a lot better today. Thanks for your happy thoughts for her. We didn't take her to the Vet. It was closed when we called. No more pigs ears for her however as I believe they are the culprits which started this whole sick business. Only home cooked chicken and rice for her from now on. I think it's for the best.
A pink thought to carry with you through today . . .
