Looking for a Gift???

The other day I received a little packet in the post from a company called Whisk Hampers. Inside was the cutest little whisk and a bar of fairtrade dark chocolate.

I had a look at their sight, which you can see here. I was most impressed. They have gifts and gift hampers available anywhere's between £16.00 for a Golfer's gift set and £1,400 for a bottle of 1893 Vintage Armagnac, (would you even drink a bottle of anything that cost that much??? I sure wouldn't!) not to mention everything in between.

From their site:

Whisk Hampers are a gourmet gift company with a contemporary twist. Dedicated to sourcing products for the food savvy, our collection of stylish hampers and food gifts are perfect for the modern foodie.

The company's ethos is in line with the nation's ever-increasing appetite for artisan food, so our gourmet gifts are certain to please friends, family or clients alike.

All gifts are beautifully packaged with personal touches like a handwritten tag, miniature signature whisk so you can be sure your gift will feel special.

Their hampers look beautifully done and well suited to almost anyone's taste, containing a wide variety of goodies and delights . . . presented in a modern wooden box with a Perspex lid, and filled with expertly selected products from small and artisan producers, and beautifully packaged with black shredded paper and personalized with a handwritten tag and the signature whisk. (I love my lil whisk!)

If you are looking for an artsy and tasteful gift to send to a foodie friend of yours be sure to check out the Whisk Gift and Food Hamper site. I am sure you will find something perfect on there for even the most discerning of your foodie friends!

  4. How tall do you have to be to plump for these things landing on your doorstep? It all sounds lovely - what;s the whisk like? I have just had a look at their website and you would need to be a bit wealthier than me. You can ppick up some good ideas on how to present things though, can't you?
