A few of the wow moments and things that I find each week that tickle my fancy. They might even tickle yours!
Peanut Butter Cookie Lasagna from Hugs and Cookies. With it's multiple layers of Nutter Butters, Peanut Butter Cups, Cool Whip, and Skippy Peanut Butter, I don't know whether to be grateful that I can get NONE of those things here in the UK, or sad . . .
Maybe I'll just have to create my own version? Sounds like a dessert for the Young Missionaries to enjoy! Might just kill me however. lol
I love, LOVE all of the colours and the pattern of this lovely crocheted bag. It would be a great way to use up some scraps. From Ravelry. It's a free pattern.

Another week of great ideas Marie...I like that crochet bag as well, but as I cant crochet it will just remain a nice picture!! same with all the lovely sewing stitches, I dont have a sewing machine..like the idea of todays bake though...mmmmm...and NO I dont think that sweet lasanga would e good for you LOL or me !! Have a nice day hope you are having some rest...It is VERY wet down here and think it looks like it will be on all day...so we wont be going anywhere, anyway my wheelchair is away for a service so cant get very far without it LOl...
ReplyDelete( that was Peter just popping in before he leaves for work, heard me say I needed bread and has made me a small loaf overnight ) bless him...
Marie I am amazed at the things you find and share with us. I thought the sweet lasagne looked nice but like you I cannot find the ingredients. For that problem I am very thankful.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a short burst of sunshine this afternoon. It has been cold, wet and gloomy for days. However the temperature quickly rose to a sticky 29. One great thing is that the washing has shrunk from a mountain to a mole hill.
God bless your day.
What a lovely friend you have in Peter Sybil! How nice that he baked you a small loaf overnight! Its very overcast here. Not sure if it will rain or not! It's been a very unsual summer here. Not a lot of rain but not overly warm either! Hoping for a sunshiny August! I am so glad we can't get those things for that lasagna. It would spell trouble for me! haha xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteSuzan, praise God for sun shine and shrinking wash loads! xoxoxo
Hi, Marie! Peanut Butter Cookie Lasagna.. Oh, no... that is just too, too dangerously good! If I ate that, I think I'd not want to eat anything else. And here's us getting ready to go sugar-less... again! ;o) I LOVE Nutter Butters. Can't get them here in Norway either, so maybe that's OK??!! LOL. I saw this recipe last week for DIY homemade Nutter Butter Cookies: http://www.craftsy.com/blog/2015/07/homemade-nutter-butters/ Gotta make!! Oh, and your choc chip treats at the end... Help! LOL... Thank crochet bag is GORGEOUS! The passport wallet is so nice. I always think I'll make one--but haven't yet. ;O) Great pattern! Thank you, as always, for all the fun and ideas! Happy Weekend, my friend ((LOVE & BIG HUGS))

Thanks Valerie! Been better, but hoping that things are on the upsweep now. Xoxo
I always enjoy looking at your Friday finds. Of course, the dessert at the top of the post does look delicious and it would probably kill either my husband or me. However, my grandchildren would love it. I can certainly enjoy the low fat chocolate chip muffin; I will try that one.
ReplyDeleteLoved the bag; but I would have to buy one; I am not talented enough to make it. Now days I don't sew much.
I love the 111 Rainy Days indoor activities. I will have to look into it for grandchildren and perhaps even primary.
Thanks dear friend for the link; I loved it!
Sending hugs your way!
