Outside my window ...

It is dull and overcast and expected to be a rainy day today. We do need the rain as it has been really dry. My lawn is turning brown.

I am thinking ...

Olivia Newton John passed away. She was only six years older than myself. I always loved her singing. She was, by all accounts, a really nice person as well. Sad.

I am thankful for ...

My sister who is always willing to spend time with me and peppermint tea. Facetimes with my two older sons. My cats. My home. My life. My faith.  I am just grateful for it all.

In the kitchen ... 

Hot Ham & Cheese Sandwich with Bacon & Caramelized Onions. For one. You can actually make as many as you want or need.  Quantities are given for one and can be multiplied.

On my "To Cook" list ... 

Plain Chicken.  South Carolina Bird Dogs. These look and sound fabulous.
