A few of the things in life that make my heart go pitty pat. Maybe they will do the same thing for yours. ♥♥♥

Royal Weddings.  For as long as I can remember, I've been getting up early to watch them, which in Canada meant really early!  They are exciting and I love all of the ceremony and pomp and tradition. I love the moment when you get to see the dress for the first time, watching the ceremony, the bell ringing, the ride in the carriage afterwards, the kiss on the balcony.  I am not sure how much of that we will have with this one where they are getting married in Windsor, but I am sure that there will still be plenty to enjoy this Saturday when Meghan and Harry wed. I just wish everyone would stop with the nit-picking.  Lets just celebrate a beautiful young couple getting married and wish them all the happiness in the world! Lets not spoil their day with any negativity!  I think this is my favourite Royal Wedding yet!

Kittens . . .  especially orange ones or calico ones.  Kittens are so sweet.

The kindess of others and a new pairs of shoes  . . . they're kinda red don't you think?  Thank YOU Nicola.  They arrived yesterday and are just beautiful. I can't wait to wear them to church. Well, I was wearing them all yesterday afternoon.  Walking on sunshine . . . ♥♥♥

    1. I know Monique! Why can’t people just be kind! Kindness costs nothing! We haven’t been able to get wisteria to grow here either. I got up way early for Diana! Xoxo

  2. There is a lot of nit picking going on these days. It seems the negative side of things take over. So sad when there is much happiness in every day and especially in with a wedding. Oh that they would report the good and not the bad, how much happier we'd be. Life goes on so we might as well look at the bright side....

  5. Hi Marie~

Oh my goodness, so much goodness to look at! I can imagine that the Royal Wedding will be wonderful, and even more wonderful watching it in the UK. These two special people just need to be able to enjoy their moment without all the nastiness...it's a shame!

I'mm so happy about your red shoes!! What an amazing gift, from a very giving heart, many blessing to whoever sent them!

I love Hollyhocks, and would love to grow them...one day...ahhh! I have a raised bed that I am planning to grow flowers in, but, I'm not very knowledgeable about what flowers to grow...more studying for me!

Many years ago, we were camping with the kids and the wildflowers were just gorgeous! I found an old magazine and we put flowers between each page. I'm not sure where it is, but I'm pretty sure I didn't throw it away. The search is on!

Tonight, we had grilled pork chops and your recipe for Cheese and Potato Pie. It was delicious!! Bob requested it heated up for breakfast!

We have had some really interesting weather that I will be posting about. Warm sunny days mean, stormy evenings in Idaho...eeekkk!

    Much love to you!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb

    1. I am so pleased that you and Bob enjoyed the Cheese and Potato Pie Barb! Yay! It would be a great breakfast dish reheated or sure! The shoes were an extra special blessing for me. Now I have a new pair of shoes to wear to church. My old Sunday go-to-meeting shoes are over 18 years old, mind you they only get used on Sundays so its not as bad as that sounds! haha I will look forward to your post! I love it when you post something new! Love and hugs to you always! xoxo
