 I love my husband and I respect what we have together.   My marriage is sacred and a gift from God.   I will not have what we share together sullied by what the world perceives to be love.  I will honor my husband in other ways as he will honor me . . . with values that are wholesome and good . . .  and eternal . . . and filled with respect for each other and for what we share together.

That is the type of love that families are built upon and the type of love which is a solid foundation for everything else and does not leave you wanting or seeking  . . . more.  It satisfies . . .  completely

 

Anything else is just an imitation . . . second rate.   I will not settle for anything less than what we already have together . . . .  because this is for forever  . . .  not just for now.

Question - What have you learnt from the reading today? How are we all "beggars"? 

 

My thoughts -  I loved reading this today. What a wake up call! We must help anyone no matter what or how they are struggling because we are all beggars. We all rely on Him for everything we have. I thought it was very important when it said 'I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to THEIR wants. I honk that word THEIR is very important. Not what we want to give but what They stand in need of. I hope I can give whenever I can and think more of others needs. I'm so grateful for all I have and love that living in the Saviours way saves me from harm. Because I have been given much I too must give.  There, but for the grace of God go I.
