My Friday Finds . . .

And Part Three.
And finally . . . Part Four.

How to Compost. From Pretty Handy Girl.
Make your own Butterfly Feeder. From eHow.
From The Garden Glove. Unusual ideas for garden containers.
And that's my finds for this week. Hope you found something here that you can use!
I thought you might like to see the combined gift that my sister and I gave my mom for Mother's Day. I so seldom get to see my art framed and being used. It looks pretty nice here! We have had such a busy week. On Wednesday the Zone Leaders ended up being at ours for lunch. I did cabbage and cheese soup. rolls and homemade brownies, and then yesterday the Sister's called saying their Tea Appointment had fallen through, so they ended up here feasting on Meatloaf Pie, crunchy cheese potatoes, salad and leftover brownies and some speedy berry cake. Today we have the Swallows coming, the dog groomer and we are driving a family out to a camp. Whew! There is no rest for the wicked!
A thought to carry with you through today . . .

And I do too!
Oh Marie we have a snap moment as I have potato roasting in sage butter right now.
ReplyDeleteWill and Pip are in the garden having some fun. Pip is missing her Connor as he is currently away at his great grandmother's funeral. I love to see my children getting on as it is rare.
God bless your day. It sounds interesting with potential for fun.
It's great to see the kids getting along Suzan! As they get older they will become closer and closer. At least that is the way it has been with mine. Love and hugs! xoxo

ReplyDeleteI have a basket similar to that picnic basket. I use it for my embroidery work. The liner has pockets in it to keep your scissors, needles and thread in. I love it. Hope your busy day is a good one ! Happy Friday!

Thanks Monique! I do remember the book card you made for Mylene! It was gorgeous (like everything you do) with all of the sequins and beads, and your lovely little paintings, etc. What a treasure you created for her! I am sure Caroline will love this one here today. Who wouldn't and made by a mother's fair hands, so much more of a treasure! Love and hugs! xoxo
You are such a nice girl:)
ReplyDeleteNah, just me. ;-) x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely joint gift with your sister for your Mother. I loved it. You always find such creative items. I love the painted garden stones; a great idea. I like the tutorials for the bags; although I probably won't ghetto that one. The matchbox books are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI like anything vintage. I especially liked the unique containers for garden items.
Thanks for sharing these dear friend. Sending love and hugs your way~
Thanks LeAnn! My mother did enjoy the gift. She is at the stage now where it is difficult to get her anything as she doesn't need anything. xoxo
