And so much more. Summer is a beautiful time of year that we can enjoy being outdoors, gardening, picnicking, camping, swimming, etc. Just a short one this week, I have run out of time. But hopefully some of these are things you enjoy about summer as well!
I am picking up Eileen and Tim today and bringing them over for a meal and some quality time together. Eileen took a really bad fall yesterday in the parking lot behind their apartment. It is a disgrace really, that parking lot. All uneven and full of potholes, etc. She banged up her face pretty badly and cut her hand badly as well. Not enough to go to the hospital, but enough for her to not go for her hearing test and she was pretty shaken up. I was crying about it in bed last night, just thinking about it. I love this sweet daughter of mine and I need to spend more time with her.

Poor Eileen Marie.I am sure she will appreciate the coddling.Falls are inevitable as we age but she is young.I hope the parking gets addressed. You always find beautiful images.I have magic wands..as my Alliums become them.I will forever see them as that.
ReplyDeleteThe parking lot for their apartment building is a disgrace Monique. I won't drive my car into it at all as I am afraid I will take out my suspension. Yes, it is THAT bad! I told her that she needs to use the front door from now on and that anyone picking them up needs to pick them up at the front door as there is a sidewalk there that they can walk on. I was really upset when I saw her face. She should sue really, but then it might get her evicted. He is a slum landlord I think. Does nothing unless really pushed. xoxo

DeletePoor Eileen...so sorry she is hurt and hope she will be ok soon!! Glad you are giving them some TLC!! We so understand inadequate housing issues...last nite the fire alarms went off here and we had to call the firemen to come help us...and so far today cannot get ahold of manager to have it fixed. Yea...figures.
