Use an old book cover to create a new scrapbook for the holidays.  From The Nerd Nest.  I love this idea.  Plus the old pages you take out could be used for altered art.

And those are my finds for this week.  I really hope there was something of interest here for you as well!

A thought to carry with you  . . .

her voice for kindness, her ears for compassion,
her hands for charity, and her heart for love.
For those who do not like her, she uses prayer.

In The English Kitchen today, Christmas Oat Scones.  These were fabulously tasty!

Have a wonderful Friday whatever you may be getting up to. Stay safe, wear a mask, wash your hands, socially distance, and keep yourself and those around you healthy. Its not rocket science.  Just do what we are asked to do and we will see an end to all of this more sooner than later!  Don't forget!

  1. You are so crafty Marie! I love the Christmas bauble idea, may have to try that one. We've been cold, but no snow. If it's dry enough this weekend, I'm making divinity. It is our pastor's favorite and I always try to make him some. I'm taking the day off next Friday to bake cookies and such, I'll have Friday and Saturday that way. Getting my Christmas cards done tomorrow and sent out Monday. Get my gifty baskets done and then it's just waiting until the day. Much love to you and yours! XO

  3. Hi Marie, you're not so far behind. In fact you're ahead because you're home! It is such a grey day here that we have decided to put our tree up and at least add the lights. Stay safe, stay warm. Love that little snow ball snow man. Love and hugs, Elaine

  4. What a lovely assortment of things to make for Christmas. I love making paper snowflakes. They are one of my favorite traditions of the season. You can also put some sprinkles of glitter on them to make them shine. As always thanks for sharing.

  6. I so wish that people would do as they are asked with the Mask things and etc. Elder Renlund came out with a video that makes it clear that doing this is being Christlike.
I enjoyed going through all your finds. I always like the decorating ones and the knitted items. I wish I was a bit more crafty.
I loved the cards and I would love to make the snowflakes.
Then I really liked the 5 ways to boost self esteem. I think we should always be working on that one.
    Blessings and hugs!
