I thought of you with love today . . .

I thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday
and days before that too.
I think of you in silence.
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake,
with which I'll never part.
God has you in His keeping.
I have you in my heart.

When it comes to writing about my mother, words always fail me. I was so very blessed to have had a mother like mine. Oh how wonderful it is to have had someone in my life that I loved and love so much, so much so that you miss them to the depth that I miss my mother.  I can just about barely talk about her now without crying . . . within the first few minutes anyways, but the tears still come after that. Perhaps they always will.  I am so very grateful for my faith which helps me to know that she is not far and still watches over me.  Still loving me.  And for the knowledge that one day I will see her again.

My mother was a beautiful woman, from the outside in and the inside out.  Beautiful through and through. There is a special bond between mother and child. It is quite, quite unique and I don't think there is anyway on earth that anything or anyone else will ever come up to or even close to it. Nobody will ever love me quite as my mother did. I know that.  I feel that.  I miss her every second of every day. I'm quite sure that I always will. Until we meet again . . .

I love you mom.  I miss you more than words can say.  Happy Mother's Day in heaven. We will have a lot to catch up on when we finally see each other again.  I look forward to that day. What a sweet, sweet day that will be.

  5. Oh, my sweet friend, I loved all your thoughts on your Mother. I can tell that she was extra special. I too miss my dear mother everyday.
I did a post on her for Mother's day and cried the whole time I was doing it. I guess it is good to have a grieving day. I just love and miss her so much. Then I throw into the grieving, my Dad , both brothers and one sister in law. It's all sad. My husband has lost his sister and parents too; so we have our sad moments of missing them all.
I do hope you had a sweet Mother's Day! I'm not sure when England has that celebration or is it the same as here.
Sending loving Mother's Day thoughts and hugs your way!

    1. In many ways I am grateful that my mother was not alive to experience this virus LeAnn. I don't think that she would have coped very well with all of the fear and anxiety over it. I think we always miss our loved ones even knowing we will see them again one day. Love and hugs to you. xoxo
