BBC Five reasons to find hope amidst all that is going on.

You Tube.  My brother did a humorous video about how to keep from touching your face.  I laughed so much at this.  He has such a great sense of humour.  One thing we all need at the moment is a reason to laugh.

And those are my finds for this week.

Last night at 8pm  we all gathered together as a country to show our support for the NHS and all those who are doing their best for us at this time.  We were asked to step out into our gardens and make some noise, clap, cheer, bang some pots and pans to let them know that we appreciate what they are doing for us all.  Taking great risks to their own lives to save the lives of others.    We participated of course, and it was wonderful to hear all the shouts, and clapping, etc.  The air rang with sounds of support.  It was a very moving and emotional moment.  We are so very grateful.

A thought to carry with you  . . .

Baked Western Sandwich with Oven Hash Browns

In the English Kitchen today  . . .  Oven Baked Western Sandwiches with Roasted Hash Browns.  Yummy diner food!

Do stay safe today.  Do all that you need to do to keep yourself and your family safe and healthy.  If you know someone who is alone, do pick up the telephone and give them a dingle to let them know you are thinking of them. It will really brighten their day. Know always that  . . .

  2. Your brother's youtube video was funny. He has a good sense of humour. How are you and Todd managing? My husband went to NoFrills for eggs and milk and had to line up to get in as they were only allowing ten people in at a time. No flour, no oatmeal. But still lots of fresh fruit and veggies. Can't really complain. I just heard that 4 people have died on a cruise ship stranded off the coast of Panama. That must be really scary for passengers and crew alike. It's strange times we are living in right now. Take care of each other. Love and hugs, Elaine
