I made Todd a Maraschino Cherry Valentines Cake.  I am so not a cake decorator.  It has seven minute frosting.

Happy Valentines Day to you all!  Have a great day no matter what you get up to.  Don't forget!

  1. Hi Marie, you've inspired me to make an English Tea for Valentine's day. It is bitter cold here so probably won't be going out later. Loved the English Cottage tea cozy. And I plan on making the clotted cream. Any sign of my little package? I was so hoping it would arrive by Valentine's Day. Valentine hugs to you and Todd. Love, Elaine

    1. I will have to look for Anna Olsen's recipe. I think Anna Olsen is the best. We do get her show over here occasionally. I don't have any of her books yet, but I have wished for them! xoxo

  5. Hi Marie~

I love all things tea party...it just makes me smiles! I have never been to a proper tea party, but I would love to one day. When my great grandparents came from England, my grandfather brought his teacup with him. After he passed away the family couldn't decide who should get it so they donated it to, The Daughter's of Utah Pioneer Museum. I really need to go there and see if I can find it.

I loved the cloth napkin tutorial. I would love to quit using so much paper and start using cloth.

We were kind of lazy for Valentine's Day. Bob had leftovers and I had PB&J. It's all good though, we will watch a movie and have popcorn!!

Happy Valentine's Day to you and your sweetheart!! Love you both!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb
