Something for Sunday . . .

(I couldn't find the artist)

I hardly ever have enough time these days to do a proper post on Sunday mornings, so I am just going to post a picture, and then you can tell me what it makes you feel or think in the comments.  I will too.

  1. There was nothing that Belinda Bunny (Lindy for short) loved more than to climb up into the old oak tree which lay at the end of the garden. There was a spot in the hollow of its branches which seemed to have been made just for her. There she would sit, cradled into this wise old tree, putting to paper the secrets and wisdom it chose to share with her. She carried a notebook and pen with her wherever she went. An aspiring writer must always be prepared. Somehow she knew that had she not had them with her the first time she had visited this tree, the tree would never have sung her its song, and so now she always came prepared to listen,to observe . . . . and to write.

  2. Good morning, Marie, loved your story about Lindy learning the secrets of the ages from the wise old oak tree and writing them down for posterity. Can't improve on your lovely story. Enjoy your Sunday. God bless. Take gentle care. Hugs, Elaine

    1. I have often felt that if trees could talk they would have wonderful stories to tell Elaine! xoxo
