I hardly ever have enough time these days to do a proper post on Sunday
mornings, so I am going to start something new. I am just going to post
a picture, and then you can tell me what it makes you feel or think in
the comments. I will too.
With all of the cold weather we are having this illustration reminds me that we need to remember the birds in our garden and put food out for them to eat. Preferably something containing fat. I make my own suet balls using melted suet, peanut butter, bits of apple, cereal, mealy worms, sunflower heart etc. The fat is so important to them this time of year!
I agree, the little birds need to be taken care of when it's cold outside. Maybe it's all the meds I'm on right now, but when I looked at that cute picture, I wondered why the birds were wearing shoes...my brain isn't working very good. It's been quite warm here today, in the upper 30's. The snow is melting, the wind is blowing, and that means we are one day closer to spring!
Hope your Sunday was a beautiful one! Love you tons! XOXO
I thought they looked like comfy slippers. When I look at the birds in the garden and their tiny little feet and think about how cold it has been, I wish they all had slippers or shoes. Love and hugs Barb. xoxo
Your comments mean the world to me, and while I may not be able to address each one individually, each one is important to me and each one counts. Thanks so much!

DeletePS - I hope you are starting to feel better! ♥
DeleteTis quite nothing like a roaring fire on a cold snowy day...to be watched from INSIDE the house!! Great for reading books and napping!!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth xoxo
Oh yes, the best place for watching a storm is definitely from the inside Elizabeth!! xoxo
