Grandmother's Buttermilk Cake

In the kitchen today  . . . . Grandmother's Buttermilk Cake.  Delicious of course!

The electrics on my stove went kaput yesterday so I have no stove now.  They can't come to look at it until Monday.  It will be the slow cooker and microwave until then!  Hope you have a beautiful day.  Its chucking it down here today!  Blah!  Don't forget!

  1. Oh my...Buttermilk Cake...that would be such a treat!! I cannot use real milk anymore, but almond milk with a teaspoon of vinegar or lemon juice seems to work just fine in recipes, albeit, not as rich tasting however. And don't those dresses look comfy? I would call that a "house dress", kind of like my Grandma used to wear around the house!!
Hugs...hope you will have a good day...I am headed off to bed now...haha...tis after midnight here...I am a "late night" person...
