My Friday Finds . . .

A few of the things  I find each week that pique my interest, bring me joy, inspire me to learn, create, do, become . . . Maybe they will do the same for you!

Heart, Hook, Home.  Written and video tutorial on how to crochet the Bobble Stitch.

Oh. My. Goodness. I am in total love here. From Blog Lovin. Its a kit that seems to be out of stock at the moment, but oh my goodness.  Isn't this just the cutest tea cosy?

Love Crochet, bathroom organiser.  Not free, but not expensive either. You could also use it as a travel organiser for your toiletries.

The Answer is Cake.  Healthy Carrot Cake.  Its raw.  But it looks and sounds delicious!

Everything you ever needed to know about The Handmaid's Tale.  We are watching the second series of this now on the telly.  We quite  like it.

Look at What I Made. Cornstarch paste/glue.

Sweet Peas and Saffron. 7 chicken marinades you can freeze.

New Leaf of Wellness.  All healthy.  Prep ahead and put in the freezer to pull out.

I couldn't find a source for this.  But they all look very tasty.

Design DIY, Chalkboard Cheats.

Ms Modify.  How to stock a gluten free kitchen.

DIY 4 ever.  Crochet Unicorn Sleep Mask.  These would make cute  gifts for people.

Again, no source, but how adorable are these?

Homelife. How to make Doily Envelopes.

Live Laugh Rowe.  Hosting an afternoon tea party.  These are the party favours.  Cute!

From Claire Jackson on Ravelry. I love the simplicity of this.

Annies Craft Store.  Not free, but cute!

Elixer Vitae Secrets.  Sounds lovely.

Little Things.  DIY Mason Jar Lunches and Breakfasts. Perfectly portable.  People are so smart and what a great re-use for those little plastic tubs that our yogurts, etc. come in.

Second Street.  Some cool ideas for wrapping gifts using brown kraft paper. Love some of these!

And those are my finds for this week.  I hope there was something of interest for you here!

A thought to carry with you  . . .

  1. Hi, Marie--Happy Friday! Good to catch up with you and your mid-week and end of week posts. :) Love all the fiber loveliness here today! That white & coloful bobble tea cozy is sooo CUTE! That crochet organizer is sooo pretty! All the marinades and meal ideas look sooo delicious--YUM! Your lettuce "steak"are a great idea, and good for these hot summer days!
I think I must be the only one who doesn't like The Handmaid's Tale. Well, we've not watched it. But I read the book years ago, and thought the story was awful! I don't think I could watch the book brought to life... LOL! I'm squeamish like that! During the summer, on weekend, we've been re-visiting all the Harry Potter film--such fun! Hope you all have a lovely weekend now! LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH!! ((HUGS))

    1. It is quite an interesting story Tracy, but I have not read the books. I think it has a very similar theme to most futuristic uptopian stories. It reminds me a bit of 1984 except this is very much female story. I have never liked reading Margaret Attwood books for some reason and wasn't sure we would like this, but I want to see how it ends up now! What fun to revisit all the Happy Potter films! We need to do that too! Love you very much also. God bless and love and hugs to you, TJ and Luna! xoxo

  3. Mason jars can have so many good uses. They are great for storing leftovers instead of using plastic. A friend of mine years ago would bring her lunch in a jar. Hope you have a fantastic Friday !

  4. I do have to admit you find the cutest things ever. I loved all of the crocheted items of course. I can see that you are smitten with Tea Cosy; they are cute.
I loved all the links for making marinades, freezer meals, salads, and lunch and breakfast ideas. I will spend some times on these areas.
The sleep masks were adorable. We could use those on Friday nights we have to go to bed at 8:30 pm. for our 3:15 am up time for the temple.
Have a sweet weekend my dearest friend. Sending wished for blessings and hugs!
