Ten Good to Know uses for Epsom Salts.    I found this on  Creek Line House.  Did you know, for instance, that adding a few bags to the soil before planting can help replenish the magnesium levels in the soil, which have been depleted due to over-farming??  I didn't either!

But, I also say this  . . .
that light is an invitation to happiness,
and that happiness,
when it is done right, is a kind of holiness,
palpable and redemptive.

  1. Morning Marie, great finds as usual...I haven't got time this morning to look at them all but will check them out tonight..I am taking Mary to hospital this am...10 ok appointment but leaving at 8).30 as parking is horrendous there...just away now to have my cuppa and lemon curd slice of bread, my usual breakfast...I saw Mary's carer pass by so handed out Mary's bread for her to have before we leave...no sense her coming over here and then having Togo straight out again.....hope you are going to have a good day..looks like it's going to be sunny today and a wee bit warmer xx

  2. Marie I have to make that cake. I love polenta cakes. Yum.

I am in a use it up etc frame of mind. So tonight I have turn mince into spaghetti sauce. This has to be a miracle meal. A little celery, carrot, onion and tomatoes make mince go a long, long way. One kilo of mince has turned into spaghetti tonight with two tubs two freeze for later meals and three meals from savoury mince. I see shepherds pies and lasagne in the future. Maybe on a lasagne day I will make a cake too.

    God bless your day.

  4. Hi, Marie! Is it Friday already?! LOL... FUN lunch ideas. I think I may even use some of those for just the two of us here! CUTE PB& J "puzzle" sandwich(es). mmm... corn on the cob--taste of summer! You can get it here, but it seems more like animal feed to me than people feed! Maybe this method of cooking it might help. Anything's worth a try! How CUTE is that felt Christmas ornament??!! Very easy--cute for attaching to a gift, like a gift tag to maybe... Ideas buzzing! I really do need to start on Christmas... LOVE the Mary Olive quote!! I just love every word she writes... *sigh*... Happy Weekend to all of you there :o) ((LOVE & BIG HUGS))
