There's been a lot of talk about lately about the new film, 50 Shades of Grey.  I did not read the book and I won't be seeing the film.   And . . .  it's not because I am a prude, or I am old, or because the flush of young love has long since faded . . .

It's because I love my husband and I respect what we have together.   My marriage is sacred and a gift from God.   I will not have what we share together sullied by what the world perceives to be love.  I will honor my husband in other ways as he will honor me . . . with values that are wholesome and good . . .  and eternal . . . and filled with respect for each other and for what we share together.

That is the type of love that families are built upon and the type of love which is a solid foundation for everything else and does not leave you wanting or seeking  . . . more.  It satisfies . . .  completely.

Anything else is just an imitation . . . second rate.   I will not settle for anything less than what we already have together . . . .  because this is for forever  . . .  not just for now.
