A Stolen Kiss

A kiss, when all is said, what is it?
A rosy dot placed on the "i" in loving;
'Tis a secret told to the mouth instead of to the ear.
~Edmond Rostand

As you can tell my mind has been on Valentines this afternoon. Just a playful little picture. I love the little look of embarassment on the little boy's face, and the little girl looks so sure of herself. Contact me to see how you can get this print as a card for that special someone. (Obviously the watermark will not appear in the print!)

  2. Adorable! And so appropriate in my world -- my six year old got kissed by a classmate yesterday -- just make the boy the kisser!

  4. Hello my dear,
    What a sweet picture you made. I am always amazed at your talents.

    I will not be able to get on line often this coming week....but I want you to know that I will check in when I can. I think of you often.

    I love your post from yesterday. Like you, I try to watch for the wounded around me. Sometimes I do a better job of it than others... but I appreciate your encouragement.

    I've been a bit bummed out. I was making something cute for a dear friend. All I had to do was machine embroider her name on a little apron. Now mind you, just before I retired I bought a state of the art, expensive embroidery machine. I should have been able to put her name on my project in about 15 minutes...instead I worked on it for over 1 1/2 hours and ruined my project. My supposedly wonderful new machine gave me nothing but trouble. It jammed....it broke threads...it kept getting stuck...it kept clogging up threads under the pressure plate and I had to take it all apart 3 times....and last but not least, it tore a hole in my project and now I can not give it to my friend. bummer...

    Don't you hate it when your creations don't turn out the way they should...or at least the way you think they will?...has that ever happened to you? urggg

    I'm sure that I will make another little apron and try again...but not today. Oh well, my machine is still under warranty. I have several projects that I want to do for Christmas gifts. I hope they can fix my machine quickly.

    Now if I had your talent for painting instead of sewing, I wouldn't be in this situation. Like I've said...your talents amaze me.

    Have a good week my sweet Marie.((Hugs4U))) Lura
