A Prayer Request
This is my lovely daughter in law Kayla, holding my grandson Jonathan. Kayla is married to my middle son Doug. They are such a sweet couple and have such a nice little family. They are expecting a new son in January. His name is Joshua. Kayla was admitted to hospital last evening and is now on bedrest. The baby is ready to come and it is far, far too early. His lungs are not mature enough yet and so they are trying to hold him off for at least a few weeks until they are more developed. If you could please spare a prayer for my sweet Kayla and Doug and Joshua I would very much appreciate it, as would they. I am so afraid for them. They have had to struggle so much financially and times have been hard for them. It breaks my heart to think that something bad could happen to this wee one that we all love so much. Your prayers are needed and so very much appreciated. Thanks very much.
Absolutely Marie! Linda in Washington

ReplyDeleteLots and lots of prayers going out to Kayla, Doug and sweet Joshua...and to you, Todd and all the family! I hope all will be well for mom and child. :o) And happy belated anniversary wishes to you and dear Todd!! I loved your post from yesterday and all the photos...Hope you had a lovely day! Dealing with storm aftermath again here I wasn't online much yesterday to be able to wish you both continued joy together! LOVE YOU BOTH ((BIG HUGS))
ReplyDeleteMarie - I'm sure all will be okay. They can do so much in hospitals these days. Postive thoughts are being sent their way, with love Jan x
ReplyDeletePrayers for these precious people. I also pray that you all feel the blessing of the Lord at this time. I had two early deliveries and I was blessed with such serenity and certainty. It was wonderful and I pray for this for you too.
ReplyDeleteOh I hope everything will turn out fine and I will definitely add them to my prayer list today. Congratulations on your anniversary also!
ReplyDeleteSending up prayers!
ReplyDeleteHello Marie...prayers for you and you family....
ReplyDeleteCount with me and prayers of course dear Marie!!! Gloria
ReplyDeleteprayers on the way!
ReplyDeleteSending prayers to you and your family Marie. My sister had a baby 10 weeks early and he was in the hospital for a few weeks but is doing great now. So if the baby does come early there is hope.
ReplyDeletePrayers for them & you also ~ Marie x!!!
ReplyDeleteThey will be raised in prayer here!
ReplyDeleteRemind your son & daughter-in-law that their strength and positivity will also do wonders. My former boss and I were pregnant at the same time, about 1 month apart-her son was due in early March, mine April. She went into the hospital in early November and on bedrest until her son had to be born via c-section in the last days of November. Though the early days were not easy, he is getting ready to celebrate his 4th birthday-strong, smart and very much with us today. My former boss was very strong for her child, she spent every waking moment with him while he was in the hospital, and even stopped working for a good while so that she could be there for him. Her strength and determination are such a big factor in his being able to overcome all that he has. He is a walking, talking, living miracle.
My prayers are yours. God bless and keep you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI send my good Wishes, to the Family and yourself Marie.
ReplyDeleteHoping for better news soon.
*Belated Anniversary Wishes
Aileen.....X
I have lifted them up today Marie. I've prayed for strength for both mother and child and for an ease to their concerns and worries. God's grace will, I pray, be poured out on them. blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteI will be praying for your son and daughter in law, too Marie!
ReplyDeleteHugz,
Cathy
Prayers and positive thought for all of you.
ReplyDeleteHi marie. I'm jenjen's sister. I had one baby 10 weeks early and one 5 weeks early. They are both just fine. One is 4 and the other 7. These sweet early babies have a way of pulling it together and fighting their way out of the trials put upon them. When in distress, their bodies go into speed mode and develop very quickly in anticipation of entering the world early. Prayers for your family. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my... that is so scary! I will be praying for her and her little one.
ReplyDeleteYou will most certainly be in our prayers as your son, daughter in law and little Joshua.
ReplyDeleteThey are in my prayers and I will asked my friends to do the same. I will call the temple right now and add their names.
ReplyDeleteLove to you my dear. I pray that all of this will work out and wee Joshua will not come into this world until his little lungs are ready to work properly. Much love, Lura

There are so many advances in health care, I hope all will go well. My friend told me once that her daughter had it rought, with little money and children and how she had it rough..... I TOLD HER IT WAS JUST LIKE WE HAD IT... Sally laughed and said yes, we did too. We do what we have to but we, with a little prayer and familyl, can make it.

I will most definitely hold your family in prayer Marie......such a scary thing to go through.
ReplyDeleteCarol
I will send good wishes and prayer.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time at your Blog too. As a disabled Vietnam Veteran: 68-70, I well know what extreme loss of life is. I was a good soldier but not a 'killer' how loved war.
ReplyDeleteI am also a biblical Christian and my Journal tried to help people to know and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. That is what gives me so much hope amid a corrupt, wicked world. I pray that your grand child will be healthy and well.
