Thanks for being transparent here. If it helps any, you have many out there going through similar events. I guess one of the first lessons life teaches us, is that life is not fair. All we can do, is keep loving and hoping. And you are leaving a lot of printed words behind, so at least your children will someday be able to know you this way. It is not easy to be lied about and have one's children believe it...but it happens. A great big HUG to you...and know that often things do work out in the end!! Having a good man to live with and share life with is a great blessing as you have expressed too. I think sometimes we have to be thankful when we feel we not only have just a glass half-full, but one that consists of the dregs at the bottom of the glass. I have often felt we get the crumbs under the table. But at least we get the crumbs!! In dealing with certain kin, I came to understand that no matter what we need (put in terms of dollars...if we need $5, but all the other person has is $1, then we can recieve not one dime more than $1!!)...the other person can simply NOT give what they do not have. I am glad you have one wonderful son who obviously loves you, no matter what. Lavish all your love on him as he is the only one!! And that he has children too is very wonderful!!

Our children are not in agreement with us as to faith either...but then it is we who have changed as per 2 of our 3 children. But hope remains!!

Blessings on you and may you be comforted!!
ElizabethAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-78416828449658248432009-11-23T19:48:20.719+00:002009-11-23T19:48:20.719+00:00The booksigning went great. Instead of focusing on the positive we stress the negative in someone's life. I hope someday to get past that particular sin! Best wishes with all your cooking during this holiday season. I'm so prone to burning things that I'm especially watchful when cooking large dinners. :) blessings, marleneStitchinByTheLakehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04501479854150315011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-62109270424118856152009-11-23T15:57:22.137+00:002009-11-23T15:57:22.137+00:00Hi Marie,Wow it sounds like you have your work cut...Hi Marie,
Wow it sounds like you have your work cut out for you this week! It sound like you work in a movie! What must it be like to have enough $ to have someone do everything for you? Yikes, I'll never know! They are lucky to have you! Hey can you come over and pack for me...all night long? Just kidding, I still think that is so bizarre.

The Primary program was fantastic here too. Loved the new songs. You know what I think about your kids? When they have their own, like your oldest, they will change their tunes about you. Once they become parents they will understand and regret what has happened. The love for one's mother is very deep...circumstances don't usually change that. Especially not over one mistake if that is how they view saving your own life and sanity.

Love you, Marie.
