However I am glad that you did go to the ward party and for a few hours you were able to forget just how painful your arm is..watching children really is what makes Christmas for me. Mary and I watched the 4,5 and 6 year old do a nativity it was so funny and beautiful and sad all at the same time...I would like to think they will show it again...today we had our Carol service each carol followed by a reading I was the first reader reading from Isaiah foretelling the birth of Jesus...we had a full church which was lovely. Michael who organised the programme asked people who use the church to do a reading one in particular I was very pleased about was a lady called Val who comes to the coffee morning she volounteered to do the reading,,,she is not a church going lady but also d
Took part in the concert couple of weeks ago when she said she had lived in the village for over 30 years and it has been only since she came into the coffee morning that she has made so many new friends and is not so lonely...quite somthing to say about our coffee and chat mornings...and now she has offered to do a reading at the church service ....God works in mysterious ways.
I pray that you get a sleep tonight and that the pain eases.if not you may have to go back and ask for a pain killer you can't go on without some relief.
