I will take a burger any day of the week over that! Love and hugs and happy Labour Day weekend to you! xoxoMarie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-2752729916446158232018-08-31T03:49:28.191+01:002018-08-31T03:49:28.191+01:00I love your favorite things because many are some ...I love your favorite things because many are some of mine too..
Peanut Butter and Jam. It’s fun I didn’t like it growing up but now I do love one once in a while.
I remember recipes on boxes and etc and some were fun to try. I like old recipes and have several from my mom, grandma and others. I just don’t bake buch anymore. I should!
I have never heard about a Hawk Moth; how unusual and unique. I do love hummingbirds.
Scrap quilts are the best. My great Aunts made me three beautiful quilts when I got married. One was of different scraps from dresses and blouses my mother made me through the years. They also made a spectacular Star quilt of silk like material from prom dresses my mother made. I used the one too much. I still have the star quilt and I treasure it.
I did a lot of canning when I was raising children and now it doesn’t seem worth it when it is just the two of us.
Yes, I remember doing dishes with my Dad probably more than my Mom. I do love those momories. I too, loved doing dishes when looking out a window. We have one now and I enjoy it still. Even if it is rinsing and loading the dishwasher.
I love Classical music too. I play the piano; not well but I do love playing classics that I learned many years ago that I have continued to play through the years.
I have enjoyed having our three granchildren in our home and watching their excitement and apprehension of starting the school year again. So far so good!
Isn’t nature just so amazing. I too love the story of the birds llights.
It was fun to be in the ocuntry this past week and we enjoyed seeing the stars. The air has been so bad here that you can’t even see the mountains.
I do love the cosy fire part of the cooler months. Yup! A fire, a good movie and hot chocolate. That’s the best!
Blessings and loving thoughts and hugs for you all!
I hope you have a sweet moment with your sweet groomed Mitzie!
LeAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18107717294803352571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-78086319729203225662018-08-31T01:18:56.189+01:002018-08-31T01:18:56.189+01:00Hi Marie~
Oh my goodness, all things wonderful!! ...Hi Marie~

Oh my goodness, all things wonderful!!

The other day I was standing with a friend by the church doors, waiting for someone to come with the key, when a beautiful little humming bird flew by, stopped to check us out, then flew off. It was so beautiful and unexpected, we both loved it!

I love peanut butter sandwiches too! Today, we took my two daughters and my little grand to sushi. Tanner, my little grand, thought he would love sushi, so he took a bite. His eyes got big, and all of a sudden...it all came back up. My poor daughter was mortified! We cleaned him and the bench up, ordered him some rice, and I made him a pb&j when we got home. He informed me that, "me and grandpa are hamburger kind of guys, not sushi kind of guys!" But, the sushi was really good.

School is in full session now, kids are getting on and off the bus, and the streets are a little less busy. It won't be long before the children in our area are off for two weeks of, "spud vacation". We still have a few farmers who put the kids to work in the spuds. It probably won't be long before they don't have that break...all the farmers are getting old, retiring and selling their farms. Their children don't want the farm or the ground so they sell it, because they get more money selling it for housing additions than for farming...so sad to me!

Have a great Friday, Marie! Much love to you!

Hugs and Love,
BarbBarbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15158897469583069249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-71097310884483032032018-08-30T16:08:21.532+01:002018-08-30T16:08:21.532+01:00Happy things are feeling cooler Pam! But we do know it is coming. This weekend is Labor Day weekend for us and then everyone will go back to school so it's the unofficial beginning of fall for us.
Hope you have a wonderful Thursday and that the toe is feeling better too!I'm mostly known as 'MA'https://www.blogger.com/profile/12107548726472541669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-76740693162936581592018-08-30T13:43:49.732+01:002018-08-30T13:43:49.732+01:00I use to sandwich chips in my PB and J sandwiches....I use to sandwich chips in my PB and J sandwiches..lol..
Love reading about all your fave things..:)La Table De Nanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04358539954508050792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-27424051620849591192018-08-30T12:26:28.155+01:002018-08-30T12:26:28.155+01:00Trying to write here again. I would love to see the northern lights and a hummingbird sounds like an amazing creature. I know we have out share of strange animals but there seems to a softness to some of the old world animals that is not here.

I hope MItzie comes home smelling beautiful and pleased to see you.

I have just come home from the quilt shop. I bought some fabrics but since I need splints on both hands I didn't sew. Was! No knitting either. I am missing my hand work. I can't even hold a book comfortably.

God bless.Suzanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04751811907460312905noreply@blogger.com
