You are a treasure. It would be lovely to eat breakfast outside together, but alas Todd never gets up util about 4 hours after I do! Yes, he is a layabout and sleeps til nine most mornings! xx

Oh Valerie, you do make me smile. I have always enjoyed my own company and have never minded being on my own. Of course things are twice as nice when shared however! Chocolate cake would be nice! xxooMarie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-37353410290438186572014-07-21T23:38:45.752+01:002014-07-21T23:38:45.752+01:00The eloquent way you describe things past and pres...The eloquent way you describe things past and present makes me take a deep breath and relax. I feel like I am walking into your world for just a little while. :-) xoxo
PS. I felt a bit sorry for that little girl taking her peanut butter sandwich and Cool-ade out alone to the woods. Awww! I want to give little Marie a big hug and sit down and join her. Of course I'd bring a lovely chocolate cake to share with cream! Even the bugs can have their own piece. ;-) Valerie H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01676002579226473400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-19252948935122992052014-07-21T22:37:10.738+01:002014-07-21T22:37:10.738+01:00No matter what you write; it always brings to mind...No matter what you write; it always brings to mind memories.
My mother on the other hand loved picnics; almost to a fault. Now that I look back I loved them too. We don't do them very much anymore; but after reading this one; we will go on a picnic this week.
I loved your garden and flower pictures with the butterflys and birds.
I loved thinking about your peaceful mornings; I envy that I think.
I was telling my hubby just today that we needed to eat breakfast on our patio once in a while and I think I need to go out and do some morning reading; thanks for your inspiration today.
Blessings, love and hugs for you!LeAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18107717294803352571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-76587200312013898812014-07-21T16:25:16.201+01:002014-07-21T16:25:16.201+01:00Pam, it is a peacock butterfly. I hope you have a wonderful Monday too! xxoo

They do bring me a lot of joy Monique. I know they bring you joy as well. I just knew you were the type of girl to have brown bag picnics. I love these summer mornings when all is quiet and the door is open to enjoy the view outside. That butterfly you pictured is quite unusual and so colorful. I've never seen one like that here. Maybe it's particular to your area. We do have many that visit us here but none like that. Hope you do have a wonderful Monday!
I'm mostly known as 'MA'https://www.blogger.com/profile/12107548726472541669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762115079758642698.post-13332160165056204322014-07-21T13:11:20.115+01:002014-07-21T13:11:20.115+01:00I am intrigued now Suzan, wondering what all you h...I am intrigued now Suzan, wondering what all you have to tell me!
